Corsica
Corsica by Yacht
Corsica is the wilder half of a French Riviera charter. The coastline is mountainous and largely undeveloped, the water is exceptionally clear, and anchorages that would be crowded on the mainland are often shared with a handful of yachts. For guests who want swimming and landscape rather than harbours and nightlife, it is the obvious direction to head.
The north-west offers Calvi and the Gulf of Girolata, with the Scandola nature reserve and its red cliffs alongside. Further south, Ajaccio and the Gulf of Valinco open up, then the Lavezzi islands and Bonifacio, where the old town sits on white limestone cliffs above a natural fjord. The Strait of Bonifacio separates Corsica from Sardinia and the Maddalena archipelago.
Lund Group arranges weekly and multi-week charters to Corsica, usually embarking in Monaco, Nice, Cannes or Saint-Tropez, or directly on the island. Motor yachts, sailing yachts, catamarans and superyachts are all suited to this coast, though the passage and the anchorages influence which type makes sense for your dates.
Because Corsica is a crossing rather than a coastal hop, the itinerary is planned closely with the captain around weather windows. We build in flexibility so a forecast can be respected without losing the trip you wanted.

Cruising
Scandola, Bonifacio and the Lavezzi Islands
A typical week works down the west coast: Calvi and Girolata, the Scandola reserve, the Gulf of Ajaccio and Valinco, then Bonifacio and the Lavezzi islands, with long days at anchor in between.
Many charters continue across the strait to Sardinia's Maddalena archipelago and the Costa Smeralda, then return north to the French Riviera. Overnight passages are planned with the captain according to conditions.
