Empty legs are positioning sectors flown by private aircraft that may be available on favourable terms. Send us your route and dates and we will tell you what is genuinely moving.
The principle
A flight that is happening anyway.
Private aircraft rarely finish a charter where their next one begins. The sector in between — flown without passengers — is a positioning flight, and in business aviation it is known as an empty leg.
Because the aircraft is moving regardless, operators sometimes release these sectors on terms that are more favourable than a standard charter. What you give up is control: the route, the date and the departure window are set by the movement, not by you.
We do not publish a list. Availability changes through the day and a static list would mislead more than it helps. Tell us the sector and the window you could travel in, and we check it against what operators are actually flying.

Departure, destination, the dates you could travel and the number of passengers. The wider your window, the more likely a suitable movement exists.

We check what is actually moving
We work through the operators covering your sector and confirm what is genuinely available, on which aircraft and at what price, in writing.

You decide, and it is confirmed quickly
Empty legs are released and taken quickly, so a decision usually has to be made in hours rather than days. Nothing is committed until you confirm.

Timing
The schedule belongs to the aircraft
The departure time, date and routing are set by the movement itself. Small adjustments are sometimes possible; a fixed departure time usually is not.
Availability
It can be withdrawn
If the operator sells the outbound charter differently, or the original flight changes, the empty leg can disappear. We always hold an alternative in reserve.

The cabin, class and configuration are whatever the operating aircraft happens to be, so it may be larger or smaller than you would otherwise choose.
