A helicopter is rarely about the flight itself. It is about what it removes: the coastal traffic in August, the transfer that eats an afternoon, the compromise between two places you wanted to be on the same day.
Helicopter travel tends to be most useful for airport transfers, short regional journeys, destinations with difficult road connections, yacht transfers, event travel, business travel, private sightseeing, and itineraries that string several destinations together.
We do not publish fixed journey times. Every sector depends on the aircraft, the routing, the landing sites and the conditions on the day, and we confirm those when we quote.

Lund Group does not operate its own aircraft. Helicopters are sourced from licensed operators for each request, so the categories below describe class characteristics rather than a specific aircraft held in stock.

Monaco
Helicopter Transfers to Monaco
Monaco has no conventional airport. Arrivals into the Principality come through a nearby aviation gateway on the Côte d'Azur — most often Nice Côte d'Azur — and continue by helicopter or chauffeured car. The Principality is served by its own heliport, which is where a helicopter transfer lands.
From there we coordinate the rest: a chauffeur waiting on arrival, a tender or transfer to your yacht, or a direct connection to your hotel or residence.
Helicopters cannot land anywhere in Monaco. Any landing outside an approved site requires specific permission, and we will tell you plainly when a request is not possible.

From Nice Airport to the French Riviera
Nice Côte d'Azur is the principal aviation gateway for the region, with business aviation handling and helicopter services on the coast. From there the Riviera opens up in every direction.

The helicopter is usually the middle of a longer journey. London to Nice by private jet, a helicopter transfer along the coast, and your yacht waiting at the other end — planned as one itinerary rather than three bookings.
Because we arrange private aviation and yacht charter within the same house, the timings, the handling and the crew briefings line up. Where a yacht has a certified helideck and the operator accepts the landing, the transfer can be direct; otherwise we plan the nearest landing site and a tender.

Operations
Safety & Operational Standards
Lund Group does not own or operate helicopters. Every flight is arranged with properly licensed and authorised aviation operators, who hold the operational responsibility for the aircraft, the crew and the decision to fly.
Each request is therefore subject to aircraft suitability, crew requirements, weather, airport and heliport restrictions, local regulations, landing permissions and operational availability. Where any of those does not permit the flight, we say so and plan an alternative.
We will never promise a landing site, a slot or a departure time that the operator has not confirmed.
