Festival fleet
Festival yachts are sourced privately
Yachts and berths for the Festival de Cannes are rarely listed publicly. Tell us your purpose, guests and preferred position and we will present verified options with position and availability stated clearly.
Request Festival Yacht OptionsVieux Port
The Vieux Port sits beside the Palais des Festivals and is the most requested position during the Festival. Berths are limited, allocated by the port, and size limits apply.
We only describe a Vieux Port berth as secured once it is contracted.
Port Canto
Port Canto offers a quieter berth a short walk or tender ride along the Croisette from the Palais. Availability, size limits and terms are confirmed with the port for each request.
Bay of Cannes
Many Festival yachts sit at anchor in the bay, with tenders to the Croisette. It is often more private and more available than a port berth, but depends on weather, maritime rules and tender logistics.
Other options include Golfe-Juan, Antibes or the Lérins Islands, with longer transfers.
Festival access
Screenings, the red carpet and Festival accreditation are controlled by the Festival de Cannes and its accreditation process. A yacht charter includes none of them.
We never present invitations, badges, screenings or red-carpet access as included unless they have been issued and confirmed in writing by the relevant organiser.
Marché du Film
The Marché du Film is the Festival's film market, with its own registration and its own dates. Many charter clients are market participants who need a private place to hold meetings between sessions.
Capacity
A yacht that sleeps twelve may be permitted a different number of guests for a reception, depending on its flag, certification, location and local rules. We quote verified figures only.
Receptions may also need permissions, security, insurance and catering arrangements; we confirm these before an event is planned.
Cost
A yacht's normal weekly rate is not the Festival total. Event terms, minimum periods, berth or anchorage costs, VAT, fuel, provisioning, port fees and event services are confirmed separately.
APA (advance provisioning allowance) is a deposit for fuel, food, drink and berthing, reconciled at the end of the charter.
Timing
Suitable yachts and Vieux Port positions are often committed months before the Festival. Starting early gives the widest choice, though late requests are still worth making.
Arrival and security
Most guests arrive via Nice Côte d'Azur or Cannes-Mandelieu, continuing by helicopter, car or tender. Discreet security and secure transfers can be coordinated with boarding times.
Before and after
May is an excellent time to cruise the Riviera before or after the Festival: Saint-Tropez, the Lérins Islands, Antibes, Monaco or the Italian Riviera.
