Monaco Grand Prix Yacht Charter

Charter a private yacht for the Monaco Grand Prix and use the harbour as your base for race viewing, accommodation, entertaining and the wider Riviera weekend.

Independent adviser. Not affiliated with Formula 1, the FIA or the Automobile Club de Monaco. Berths, views and availability are never implied until confirmed.

Three ways to be on the water

Choose your yacht format

Port Hercule berth

A yacht moored inside Monaco's harbour, the closest yacht position to the circuit. Berths are allocated by the port and the event's berthing arrangements, are extremely limited and are only described as secured once a contract confirms them.

Monaco anchorage

A yacht at anchor off Monaco, with tender transfers ashore. Often more private and more available than a harbour berth, but without the harbour-side view and subject to sea state and maritime restrictions during the event.

Yacht + hospitality

A yacht based at Cap d'Ail, Fontvieille or along the Riviera, combined with separately arranged race-day hospitality ashore. Usually the most flexible way to combine accommodation aboard with a race view.

Race-week fleet

Race-week yachts are sourced privately

Monaco Grand Prix yachts and berths are rarely listed publicly. Tell us your guests, dates and preferred position and we will present verified options, with position and availability stated clearly.

Race view vs yacht base

A yacht is a base first, a grandstand second

Only some harbour positions have any sightline to the track, and even then the view usually covers a short section of the circuit. Many race-week yachts are chosen for privacy, accommodation and entertaining rather than for a direct view.

We explain the realistic view from every option before you commit, and never describe a position as trackside unless the berth contract confirms it.

Port Hercule

Monaco's harbour during race week

Port Hercule sits beside sections of the circuit, which is why its berths are the most requested yacht positions of the season. Size limits, berth allocation, mooring rules and access arrangements are set by the port and event organisers and can change each year.

LUND GROUP is an independent charter adviser. We are not affiliated with Formula 1, the FIA, the Automobile Club de Monaco or the port authority, and berths are subject to their rules and confirmation.

Private vs shared

Private yacht or shared yacht hospitality

A private charter gives you the whole yacht, crew and schedule for your own guests. Shared yacht hospitality sells individual places aboard a yacht operated by a third party, with a set programme.

This page focuses on private charter. For shared or ashore hospitality, see the complete Monaco Grand Prix experience page.

Monaco Grand Prix hospitality and weekend

Corporate hosting

Hosting clients aboard

Race week is one of the most effective corporate hosting moments in Europe. We plan guest lists, day-guest limits, catering, branding restrictions, transfers and staggered arrival so the yacht works as a private venue.

Day-guest capacity is set by the yacht's flag, certification and local rules and is usually different from overnight capacity; we only quote verified figures.

Accommodation aboard

Sleeping aboard in Monaco

With hotel rooms in Monaco scarce during race week, a yacht can double as your accommodation. Overnight guest numbers are limited by cabins and certification, typically around twelve on most charter yachts.

Cost

What drives a Grand Prix charter price

Event charter totals are shaped by berth position, minimum charter period, yacht size, crew, the advance provisioning allowance (APA), VAT, port and event fees, catering, hospitality ashore and tenders.

A yacht's published weekly rate is not the Grand Prix total. Race-week terms are quoted separately, often with minimum periods and event surcharges, and only after the owner or central agent confirms them.

Booking timeline

When to start

Harbour positions and the most suitable yachts are often committed many months before race week, frequently straight after the previous year's event. Starting early gives the widest choice; later requests are still worth making because positions and yachts do return to the market.

Race weekend format

Planning around the weekend schedule

For 2027 the Monaco round is expected to adopt the Sprint format, changing which sessions fall on which day. We plan guest days around the confirmed official schedule, and session times are shown only once published.

Before and after

Pre- and post-race Riviera charter

Many clients extend race week into a Riviera charter: Saint-Tropez, Cannes, the Lérins Islands, Antibes, Villefranche or the Italian Riviera. Repositioning days and ordinary weekly rates may apply outside the event period.

Monaco yacht charter outside race week

Arrival

Private aviation and helicopters

Most guests fly into Nice Côte d'Azur and transfer to Monaco by helicopter, car or tender. We coordinate private jets, helicopter transfers and chauffeurs with yacht boarding times.

Questions

Monaco Grand Prix yacht charter FAQ

When is the 2027 Monaco Grand Prix?

The Formula 1 calendar lists the 2027 Monaco Grand Prix for 4–6 June 2027 at the Circuit de Monaco. Dates on this page come from our maintained event record.

Can I charter a yacht in Port Hercule for the Grand Prix?

Sometimes. Harbour berths are extremely limited and allocated under port and event arrangements. We request positions and only describe a berth as secured once it is contracted.

Will I see the race from the yacht?

It depends on the berth. Some harbour positions see a section of the track; anchorage and Riviera berths generally do not. We explain the realistic view of each option.

How much does a Monaco Grand Prix yacht charter cost?

Totals depend on berth, yacht, minimum period, APA, VAT, fees and hospitality. Weekly rates do not represent race-week pricing; we quote only confirmed terms.

What is the minimum charter period?

Race-week charters often carry minimum periods set by the owner or berth arrangement. We confirm the exact minimum for each yacht.

How many guests can I host aboard?

Day-guest and overnight capacities differ and depend on the yacht's certification. We share verified figures only.

Can I stay aboard overnight?

Yes, on yachts with cabins and certification for overnight guests—commonly up to about twelve guests.

Is the yacht at anchor or in the harbour?

Either, depending on what is available. Each option we present states its position type clearly.

What is Monaco anchorage like during race week?

More private and often more available, with tender transfers ashore; it depends on weather and event maritime restrictions.

Can I combine a yacht with race hospitality ashore?

Yes. Many clients base a yacht nearby and add separately arranged hospitality. See the complete Monaco Grand Prix page.

Is shared yacht hospitality the same as a private charter?

No. Shared hospitality sells individual places aboard a yacht with a set programme; a private charter is exclusively yours.

Can a company host clients aboard?

Yes. We plan guest lists, catering, schedules and any restrictions for corporate hosting.

How early should I book?

As early as possible—ideally many months ahead—although requests close to the event can still succeed.

Does Monaco use the Sprint format in 2027?

The 2027 round is expected to use the Sprint format. We confirm session days and times from the official schedule once published.

Can I extend the charter along the Riviera?

Yes. Pre- and post-race charters to Saint-Tropez, Cannes or Italy are common; ordinary rates may apply outside race week.

How do guests get to the yacht?

Usually via Nice airport and a helicopter, car or tender transfer. We coordinate the full arrival.

Is LUND GROUP affiliated with Formula 1?

No. LUND GROUP is independent and not affiliated with Formula 1, the FIA, the Automobile Club de Monaco or the port authority.

Are the yachts shown available for race week?

Only where the status says so. Each yacht shows its race-week status; anything unconfirmed is marked as such.
