Monaco Yacht Show Yacht Charter

Charter a private yacht for Monaco Yacht Show week — as accommodation, a setting for client entertainment and meetings, or the start of a French Riviera charter.

Independent adviser. Not the organiser of, or an official partner of, the Monaco Yacht Show. Show access, berths and availability are never implied until confirmed.

Your purpose

What will the yacht be for?

Accommodation

Stay aboard during show week, when Monaco hotel rooms are scarce. Overnight guests are limited by cabins and certification.

Client entertainment

A private yacht as a setting for lunches, dinners and receptions away from the quays.

Private meetings

A quiet, confidential space for owners, buyers, shipyards and advisers between show visits.

Pre/post-show charter

Extend the week into Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Antibes or the Italian Riviera before or after the show.

Three different yachts

Yachts exhibited at the show

Displayed by shipyards, brokers and owners under the show's own arrangements. They are not normally available as your accommodation.

Yachts for sale

Viewings of exhibited or off-show sale yachts are arranged separately through the acquisition side of LUND GROUP.

Charter yachts for your stay

Show access

A yacht charter is not show access

Entry to the Monaco Yacht Show is issued by the organiser. Chartering a yacht does not include show passes, exhibitor status or access to exhibited yachts.

We can advise on how access works, but we never present passes, invitations or the invitation-only day as included unless they have been confirmed in writing.

Port Hercule

Port Hercule during the show

During the show most of Port Hercule is given over to exhibited yachts under the organiser's berthing plan. A charter berth inside the harbour is rare and is never described as secured until contracted.

A show berth (for an exhibited yacht) and a charter berth (for a yacht used by guests) are different arrangements with different rules.

Nearby positioning

Where a show-week charter yacht usually sits

Realistic options include Cap d'Ail, Fontvieille, a Monaco anchorage with tender transfers, or a Riviera berth such as Beaulieu, Villefranche or Menton, each with different transfer times and privacy.

Buying as well?

Yacht viewings during the show

Many charter guests are also buyers. We keep charter and acquisition separate: the yacht you stay on is a charter, while viewings of sale yachts are arranged by our acquisition team with the relevant listing brokers.

Corporate hospitality

Hosting during show week

Shipyards, brokerages, financiers and family offices use a private yacht to host guests. We plan guest lists, day-guest limits, catering and transfers; day-guest capacity is set by certification and we quote verified figures only.

Accommodation aboard

Sleeping aboard in Monaco

A yacht can replace a hotel for the week. Most charter yachts accommodate up to about twelve overnight guests; the exact figure depends on the yacht.

Cost

Show-week cost and APA

A yacht's normal weekly rate is not the show-week total. Event terms, minimum periods, berth or anchorage costs, VAT, fuel, provisioning, port fees and the advance provisioning allowance (APA) are confirmed separately.

APA is a deposit, commonly a percentage of the charter fee, used for fuel, food, drink and berthing and reconciled at the end of the charter.

Before and after

Pre- and post-show cruising

Late September is a calm, warm time on the Riviera. A few days before or after the show can include Saint-Tropez, the Lérins Islands, Cap Ferrat or Portofino.

Private aviation and helicopters

Most guests fly into Nice Côte d'Azur and continue by helicopter, car or tender. We coordinate jets, helicopters and chauffeurs with boarding times.

Questions

Monaco Yacht Show yacht charter FAQ

When is the Monaco Yacht Show 2027?

The Monaco Yacht Show 2027 is scheduled for 22–25 September 2027 at Port Hercule, Monaco. Confirm opening days and access with the official organiser.

Has the 2026 show already taken place?

Yes. The 2026 edition ran from 23 to 26 September 2026. This page now covers the next edition.

Which days are open to the public?

The organiser currently lists the first day as invitation-only, followed by three public days. Access is issued by the organiser, not by LUND GROUP.

Does a yacht charter include show passes?

No. Charter and show access are separate. We never present passes as included unless confirmed in writing.

Can I charter a yacht berthed in Port Hercule during the show?

Rarely. Most of the harbour is used for exhibited yachts. We request positions and only describe a berth as secured once contracted.

Where will my charter yacht be positioned?

Typically Cap d'Ail, Fontvieille, a Monaco anchorage or a nearby Riviera berth. Each option is stated clearly.

Can I stay aboard during the show?

Yes, on yachts certified for overnight guests—usually up to about twelve.

Can I host clients aboard?

Yes. We plan receptions, lunches and meetings within the yacht's verified day-guest capacity.

Can I hold private meetings on the yacht?

Yes. Many clients use a charter yacht as a confidential meeting space during the show.

Can I view yachts for sale while I'm there?

Yes. Our acquisition team arranges viewings separately from your charter.

Is the yacht I charter one of the show yachts?

Normally not. Exhibited yachts are under the show's arrangements; your charter yacht is chosen for your stay.

How much does a show-week charter cost?

It depends on yacht, position, minimum period, APA, VAT and fees. Weekly rates do not represent show-week totals.

What is APA?

An advance provisioning allowance for fuel, food, drink and berthing, reconciled at the end of the charter.

Is there a minimum charter period?

Often yes during event weeks. We confirm each yacht's minimum.

How early should I book?

As early as possible; suitable yachts and nearby positions are committed well before the show.

Can I extend into a Riviera charter?

Yes. Pre- and post-show cruising to Saint-Tropez, Cannes or Italy is common.

How do guests reach the yacht?

Usually via Nice airport, then helicopter, car or tender. We coordinate the full arrival.
