Where to charter in Turkey
Bodrum
A castle-crowned harbour town on the Bodrum Peninsula, with superyacht marinas and an international airport nearby. A natural start for the Aegean coast.
Göcek
A small, refined yachting village at the head of the Gulf of Fethiye, with several marinas and dozens of sheltered bays close by. Dalaman airport is a short drive away.
Marmaris
A large natural harbour between the Aegean and the Mediterranean, and a practical base for the Hisarönü Gulf and Datça.
Fethiye
A historic town on the Gulf of Fethiye, with rock-cut Lycian tombs above the harbour and islands just offshore.
Datça
A long, quiet peninsula between two seas, with small harbours, almond groves and the ruins of ancient Knidos at its tip.
Hisarönü Gulf
A deep, green gulf north of Marmaris with calm anchorages such as Bozburun and Selimiye, ideal for slow cruising.
Gulf of Fethiye
Twelve Islands and countless coves between Göcek and Fethiye: pine-covered shores, clear water and short hops.

Combine the Turkish coast with nearby Greek islands such as Kos, Symi or Rhodes. Crossing requires clearing out of Türkiye and into Greece.
Two weeks: Bodrum to Göcek
The full south-western coast at an unhurried pace.
Protected areas
Protected bays and ancient sites
Several stretches of the coast, including parts of the Gulf of Fethiye and the Kekova area, are specially protected. Anchoring, mooring, swimming near ruins and access to sites are regulated.
Your captain plans the route around these rules. We never suggest access or anchorages that are not permitted.

Your total charter budget
The charter fee covers the yacht and crew. On top of it expect any applicable taxes, port and marina fees, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) for fuel, food, drink and berths, possible delivery fees, and a customary crew gratuity at your discretion. We set out every element in writing before you sign.
Timing & travel
When to go and flying in
The season runs from about May to October. June and September bring warm water and quieter bays; July and August are the peak.
Bodrum and Dalaman airports both accept private aircraft. We arrange private jets and helicopter transfers around the charter.
