Bilgin describes STARBURST III as the first Bilgin 156, formerly NERISSA: 499 GT, steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Unique Yacht Design naval architecture and exterior, H2 Yacht Design interior, about 5,000nm at 12 knots. Bilgin quotes 47.50m; our listing shows 47.4m, a rounding difference.
499 GT platforms
Bilgin's sub-500 GT yachts
The Bilgin 163, 170 and 173 are about 50–53m and designed just under 500 GT. Gross tonnage measures enclosed internal volume, not weight.
Some crew, certification and operating requirements can change around 500 GT, but the effect depends on flag, use and jurisdiction. Under 500 GT is not automatically better; take qualified advice.

Is Lund Group an official Bilgin representative?
No. Lund Group is independent and is not affiliated with, authorised by or representing Bilgin Yachts. We represent buyers and work with the listing broker, the shipyard or the seller's representative on each yacht.
Which Bilgin yachts are for sale with Lund?
This page lists every Bilgin published for sale in our database, and updates automatically. At the moment that includes STARBURST III, which is also available for charter.
Is a Bilgin 170 exactly 170 feet?
No. Bilgin series numbers are names, not exact lengths. We always quote each yacht's verified length.
Are the 155 and 156 the same series?
No. They are neighbouring but separate series, as are the 173 and 176. We compare sister yachts only within the same series.
Why do so many Bilgins measure 499 GT?
Several Bilgin platforms are designed just under 500 GT, where some crew, certification and operating requirements can change. The effect depends on flag, use and jurisdiction; take qualified advice.
Is Project BOND available?
Bilgin has announced Project BOND (Bilgin 270, 82m) as sold, while some of its pages still show on-spec. We treat its status as unconfirmed until the shipyard confirms it.
What is Bilgin Certified Pre-Owned?
Bilgin's own resale programme for yachts it built. A yacht listed there is not a Lund listing, but we can represent you as a buyer.
Can you find a Bilgin that is not publicly listed?
