THE I.C.E. ST. MORITZ 2027 · GUIDE

Planning a VIP Weekend at The I.C.E. St. Moritz 2027

A practical guide to the two event days, the difference between admission and hospitality, and how to fit event access, hotel and travel into one weekend.

Friday’s static concours and Saturday’s dynamic programme

On Friday 29 January 2027 the selected automobiles are displayed on the frozen Lake St. Moritz for the International Concours of Elegance — the day for seeing the cars up close. On Saturday 30 January the cars take to the ice for free laps and the principal awards are presented.

If you can attend only one day, decide whether you would rather study the cars at rest or see them in motion. Many guests choose both. The programme always depends on the organiser, the ice and the weather.

Admission versus a confirmed hospitality allocation

A general admission ticket, a VIP ticket and a Drivers’ Lounge pass are not interchangeable. Each comes with its own access areas and conditions. When you request hospitality, what counts is the specific allocation confirmed in writing — not the general description of a category.

Private tables, reserved seating, meals, drinks and transfers are included only when your quotation says so.

Sample itinerary: 28–31 January 2027

Illustrative only — every programme is built around confirmed access and your preferences.

  • Thursday 28 January: arrival in the Engadin, transfer and hotel check-in, dinner.
  • Friday 29 January: static concours on the lake; afternoon in St. Moritz; dinner.
  • Saturday 30 January: dynamic programme and awards; evening at leisure or a private dinner.
  • Sunday 31 January: a relaxed morning, skiing or spa, then departure.

Winter clothing and arrival planning

You will spend long periods standing on or beside a frozen lake at altitude. Dress in warm layers, with an insulated coat, gloves, a hat and boots with good grip on ice and snow. Sunglasses help in bright snow light.

Allow extra time for travel in winter. For private aviation, Samedan is the closest airport to St. Moritz for suitable operations; arriving through a larger Swiss airport and continuing by road is a common alternative. Mountain weather can change plans, so keep some flexibility in your schedule.

Questions to ask before booking

  • Which access category is offered, and for which day or days?
  • Which hospitality areas, food and drinks are included, and at what times?
  • Is there grandstand access or reserved seating?
  • How and when will tickets be delivered?
  • What happens if the programme changes or the event is cancelled?
  • Which services are included in the total price, and which are optional extras?

How access, hotels and transport fit together

Event access, accommodation and transport each have their own suppliers and conditions. Coordinating them as one itinerary avoids mismatched dates — for example, a hotel stay that ends before the event, or a transfer timed before your access opens.

LUND GROUP can request a Drivers’ Lounge allocation for both days, add three nights in a five-star hotel in Pontresina and quote transfers or private flights. You receive one written proposal; nothing is booked until you accept it. All packages are price on request.
