Overview
Monaco's Principal Fixed-Wing Gateway
Nice Côte d'Azur is the principal full-capability fixed-wing gateway to Monaco and the eastern French Riviera, combining two substantial runways, dedicated business-aviation infrastructure, around-the-clock core airport services and integrated helicopter connections.
Nice is not "Monaco Airport". Monaco has no airport; the private flight lands in Nice and the journey continues by helicopter or car.
Runways
Two Parallel Runways
| Runway | Dimensions | Surface | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| 04R/22L | 2,963 × 45 m | Bituminous concrete | French AIP, 2026-10-07 |
| 04L/22R | 2,628 × 45 m | Bituminous concrete | French AIP, 2026-10-07 |
Declared distances differ by direction and intersection. Runway length alone does not decide whether an aircraft can operate; each flight is calculated by the operator.
Business aviation
Business Aviation Terminal and FBOs
More than 30 ground-support and service companies operate across the airport platform; they are not 30 FBOs. The handler for your flight is confirmed with the operator. LUND GROUP does not own or operate airport facilities.
Business Aviation Terminal
About 1,510 m², opened in March 2010 (airport operator).
Dedicated customs post
Border formalities inside the business-aviation terminal.
Security and lounges
Dedicated outbound security positions, VIP lounges and secure access.
Handlers / FBOs
The airport operator lists three dedicated business-aviation handlers in the terminal: AviaVIP, DC Aviation G-OPS and Signature Aviation.
Services
Fuel, Customs and Services
Jet A1 fuel and H24 customs and immigration are listed in the current AIP. The current AIP lists de-icing as not provided. Winter operations and any service need are confirmed per flight.
