Kotor sits at the head of the Bay of Kotor, with Perast and the church islands on the approach. Boka Kotorska is not an open-coast marina destination: the yacht moves through a sequence of connected bays between mountains and historic towns.
The best boarding point may be Kotor, Tivat, Portonovi or Luštica, depending on the yacht's size, services and onward route. Boka is enclosed and often more protected than the open Adriatic, but wind, local effects, traffic and sea state still shape each day.

Speed and navigation zones in Boka Kotorska are set on the official map published by Montenegro's maritime ministry; the captain follows the version in force. Anchorages cannot be reserved, and water-toy use follows separate local rules.
Toys, diving & anchorages
Water toys depend on the yacht and local swimming zones; diving is arranged with licensed local centres. A port is not a berth booking and an anchorage is not a reservation.
