We group aircraft into six classes: light jets, midsize jets, super midsize jets, heavy jets, long-range jets and VIP airliners. Each balances cabin size, range and airport access differently.

Which private jet has the longest range?

Manufacturers publish range under specific conditions. Among the aircraft shown here, the Bombardier Global 7500 has the longest published range. Actual range depends on passengers, payload, weather, winds and reserves.

How many passengers fit on a private jet?

From around four on a light jet to well over 19 on a VIP airliner. The certified number depends on each aircraft's interior.

Can I choose the exact aircraft model?

You can request one. Availability of a specific model depends on the operator and the date, so we usually propose comparable options too.

Can a light jet fly internationally?

Yes, light jets regularly fly between European countries. Range limits longer sectors.

Can private jets cross the Atlantic?

Yes. Long-range and many heavy jets fly transatlantic, and some super midsize jets can on certain routes.

What private jet should I use from London to Monaco?

Light to super midsize jets usually suit this route, landing at Nice with a helicopter or car transfer. The choice depends on passengers and luggage.

Airport access

Short runways, steep approaches and island airports limit which aircraft can land. A smaller jet may land closer to your destination.

Cost

Cost reflects aircraft class, flight time, positioning, airport fees, crew and timing. We quote per journey and publish no fixed prices.
