Art Week is crowded. A yacht offers what is rare that week: a private, quiet setting for a conversation, a dinner or an unhurried afternoon with the people who matter.

Miami yacht charters operate on Biscayne Bay and along Miami Beach — sheltered water framed by the downtown skyline, the islands and the Atlantic beyond.

December demand around Art Week is high, so earlier enquiries give more choice of yacht and departure point.

Miami Beach Convention Center is on land. Getting from the fair to the yacht is by road, usually by chauffeur, to the agreed departure point.

Art Week is spread across Miami Beach, the Design District, Wynwood and downtown, and December traffic is heavy. We plan departure points and timings around your appointments, not the other way around.

No. Art Basel tickets, Premium Passes, VIP Preview credentials and other official access are separate from yacht charter and controlled by Art Basel.

VIP Preview Days are invitation-only and issued by Art Basel. Public Days are ticketed through Art Basel. We plan yacht time around whichever days you have.

Art Basel Miami Beach — the complete collector route

A seated or standing dinner aboard, with menu, service and timing planned with the crew. Guest numbers follow the yacht's verified hospitality capacity, which is often different from its overnight capacity.

Galleries, private banks, luxury brands and corporate groups use yachts during Art Week for client hosting. Brand activations are not automatic: any branding, signage, filming or press activity needs the yacht owner's and venue's approval before it is planned.

Private receptions are held only within the yacht's lawful operation, certification and verified permitted capacity. There is no single guest limit for Art Week yachts.

Possibly, but artwork display or installation requires approval for the specific yacht and may involve owner, insurer, specialist handling, security and installation requirements. Power, weight, fire safety, climate sensitivity, liability and marina rules must also be considered.

Lund Group coordinates qualified providers where needed and does not act as an art authenticator, valuer, custodian, conservator or insurer. High-value art bought or moved during Art Week should travel with professional fine-art logistics and suitable insurance — never as ordinary luggage aboard a yacht.

Some yachts suit overnight charter; many Miami Art Week charters are day or evening only. Where you stay aboard, we confirm overnight eligibility for the specific yacht and charter structure.

Some yachts can continue to the Bahamas after the fair, subject to weather, the yacht's itinerary and entry formalities. A yacht cleared for Bahamas cruising is not automatically available for charter in Miami, and the reverse is also true.

Miami day charters are usually quoted for a set number of hours; multi-day charters per day or week. A yacht's standard rate is not its Art Week total: event-week pricing, taxes, gratuity, fuel and catering can all apply. Mediterranean weekly pricing does not carry over to Miami.

APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is common on larger crewed multi-day charters; Miami day charters often use a different pricing structure. We quote every element in writing.
