The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is one of the largest in-water boat shows. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 28 October – 1 November 2026. Lund Group can arrange yacht viewings, hospitality aboard and travel around show week. Lund Group is independent of the show organisers.

Florida Keys Yacht Charter
The Florida Keys stretch south-west from the mainland and suit multi-day charters with time for swimming, fishing, diving and island stops. Much of the surrounding water is shallow and protected, so routes, anchorages and marinas are planned by the captain around each yacht's draft, the weather and the applicable rules for protected areas.

Florida to the Bahamas by Yacht
One of the great advantages of chartering from Florida is the proximity of the Bahamas. Bimini and the northern Bahamas are within reach of South Florida, while the Exumas suit a longer itinerary.
A crossing depends on the yacht's speed and range, Gulf Stream conditions, weather and sea state. The yacht must be permitted to charter in the Bahamas, and customs and immigration formalities apply in both directions. Lund Group confirms all of this before proposing a route.

US Charter Rules and Guest Numbers
Charter rules in the United States depend on the vessel, its flag, its operator and the charter structure. Florida yacht options are proposed only after the vessel, operator and permitted charter structure have been reviewed for the intended trip.
The number of guests a yacht may carry depends on its certification and the type of charter, and can be lower than the number of people it can physically host. Guest limits are confirmed for each yacht before booking.

How Much Does a Yacht Charter in Florida Cost?
Day charters are usually priced for a set number of hours, with fuel, crew gratuity, catering and taxes treated according to each yacht's terms. Multi-day and weekly charters are priced by the yacht's rate, and many larger yachts add an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) for running costs such as fuel, food and dockage. Unused APA is returned.
