Hvar is a long island in central Dalmatia, and Hvar town at its western end is the busiest yachting harbour in Croatia through the summer. The Pakleni islands lie immediately offshore, providing anchorages and beach clubs within a few minutes by tender.
Guests charter here for the Pakleni islands off Hvar town, the harbour quay and evening scene, lavender fields and hilltop fortress ashore and quiet southern bays away from the town. Cruising
Cruising Hvar
Days typically run between the Pakleni islands and the southern bays of Hvar, with the yacht returning to the town quay or anchoring offshore for the evening. Quay space in high summer is limited and allocated locally.
Hvar sits between Split and Korčula, so most weeks include all three, continuing either north to the Kornati or south to Mljet and Dubrovnik.
