Split is the main starting point for Central Dalmatia: one embarkation, three very different Croatia routes — the islands, south to Dubrovnik, or north to Šibenik and Kornati. Central Dalmatia without daily packing, ferries or road transfers.
A Split week works best when it is built around your pace, not how many islands you can tick off. Passage times depend on the yacht, the marina, the weather and the exact stop, so the route stays flexible.

When to Charter from Split
May – early June
Quieter islands and warming water. Good for relaxed routes.
Late June – August
Peak season. Book marinas, moorings and restaurants early, especially around Hvar.
September
Warm sea and fewer visitors. Weather changes slightly more often.
October
Possible with flexible days; Palmižana and some island services close at the end of the month.
Why the route stays flexible
Wind, sea state and marina availability shape each day. The captain picks the sheltered side and the order of islands; passage times are planned per yacht, never quoted as a fixed fact.
Evenings, families & Hvar nights
Konoba dinners, Hvar Town's summer evenings and calm family coves around Šolta and Brač. Restaurant tables and beach clubs are requested, never promised.
Toys, diving & anchorages
Water toys depend on the yacht and local swimming zones; diving is arranged with licensed local centres. A port is not a berth booking and an anchorage is not a reservation.

Catamarans
Stable at anchor and good for families. Beam, not just length, decides the berth.
Superyachts
The larger the yacht, the more the marina and tender plan matter. Many island stops are at anchor.

APA
Advance Provisioning Allowance for fuel, food, drink, berths and park fees. Accounted for by the captain; unused balance returned.
Tourist tax & registration
Croatian tourist tax applies per guest per night, and guests and crew are registered on the crew list before departure.
Foreign-flagged yachts
Commercial charter in Croatia depends on the yacht's licences and flag. Being listed for Croatia does not mean a yacht may start in Split.
VAT
Croatian VAT rules apply to charters in Croatian waters; the applicable treatment is confirmed in writing.
Positioning
If the yacht is based elsewhere or the charter ends in Dubrovnik, delivery or redelivery fees may apply and are shown before contract.

Arrive Privately in Split
Split Airport (SPU)
Private aviation handled at the airport, between Kaštela and Trogir. Transfer times depend on traffic and the marina; we plan them per arrival rather than promising a fixed time.
Split Old Town
A night in Split before or after the yacht: Diocletian's Palace, the Riva and dinner in the city. Hotels requested, never promised.
Helicopter
Transfers depend on authorised landing sites, permits and weather, and are confirmed separately.
