No Publicly Verified Croatia Listings Right Now

We currently have no public sale listing whose location in Croatia we can verify. That does not mean there are no yachts to buy or view in Split, Šibenik, Zadar or elsewhere on the Adriatic. Brief our yacht desk and we will search the Croatian and international market — including discreet and off-market opportunities — without presenting availability or location as confirmed until the seller or central agent verifies it.

Biograd Boat Show

Croatia's main in-water boat show focuses on new production boats, sailing yachts, catamarans and the charter industry, with Biograd B2B and the Croatia Charter Expo (21–22 October 2026) alongside. It is not a superyacht brokerage show: a displayed boat is not necessarily for sale, show admission does not guarantee access aboard, and show boats are not imported into Lund Group inventory. A 2027 edition will be shown here only once announced. Show exhibits are not Lund Group inventory: a yacht on display is not necessarily for sale, being for sale does not mean it can be viewed there, and event access is not yacht access.

2026 organiser expectations: 400+ exhibitors and around 500 new vessels displayed. Future edition dates are shown only once announced by the organisers. Lund Group is not affiliated with the show.

Worldwide — not located in Croatia.

Croatia counts include only published sale listings whose Croatia location was verified within the last 90 days, or whose Croatia viewing is confirmed or on request. A median asking price is shown only with at least three priced Croatia listings in one currency; currencies are never combined. We do not publish Croatia transaction volumes, average prices or days on market without a documented dataset.

Approach

Buy in Croatia. Search globally.

The right yacht for Adriatic cruising may currently lie in Italy, Greece, Montenegro or further afield. Croatia can be where you view, survey, base and operate the yacht — not the limit of the search.

Context

Croatia's coastline is several regions

Istria, Kvarner, northern Dalmatia (Zadar, Biograd, Šibenik), central Dalmatia (Split and the islands) and southern Dalmatia (Dubrovnik) differ in services, distances and season. We record a yacht's verified port wherever possible; a cruising region is not a current location.

Primary hub

Split — the main buyer hub

Split combines an international airport, ferry links, central-Dalmatian islands and a dense brokerage and yacht-service ecosystem, making it the natural base for viewings and inspections.

ACI Marina Split reports year-round operation, 318 sea berths, 15 dry berths, daily berthing for yachts up to around 90 m, and repair and maintenance services. This is ownership context — not evidence that yachts there are for sale or that a berth is available.

Context

Croatia's professional yacht market

Split hosts the CROYA Charter Show, a B2B show for crewed charter yachts (2026 edition held 28 September – 1 October, now completed). Its yachts are commercially registered charter yachts — evidence of Croatia's charter market, not of sale status. Charter fleets and sale fleets are kept separate on this page.

Superyachts

Šibenik and superyacht infrastructure

D-Marin Mandalina in Šibenik offers dedicated superyacht berthing and technical infrastructure, with security, shipyard services and travel-lift capability in a central Adriatic position near the Kornati. We do not quote a maximum length because published figures differ; we confirm limits with the marina for a specific yacht.

Northern Dalmatia

Zadar, Sukošan and Biograd

D-Marin Dalmacija at Sukošan and Marina Kornati at Biograd are substantial marina and service centres, home to many charter operators — relevant for berth discussions, maintenance, wintering and survey logistics. Yachts there are not necessarily for sale, and berths do not transfer with a yacht.

Southern Adriatic

Dubrovnik and southern Adriatic ownership

Dubrovnik suits owner use, guest embarkation and Croatia–Montenegro programmes. It is less central for acquisition than Split; we never ask a buyer to view in Dubrovnik when the yacht is elsewhere.

Cruising

Croatia with Montenegro or Italy

Many owners combine Croatia with Montenegro (outside the EU) or Italy (EU). Border formalities, VAT status and charter rules differ, so plan flag, structure and intended use before buying.

Use

Private or commercial ownership

Croatia's large charter market makes commercial use a common question. Private and commercial use carry different registration, licensing, crewing, safety and tax requirements. A yacht bought for charter is not an investment product, and we make no promises of revenue or return.

Buying an ex-charter yacht calls for extra scrutiny of usage hours, maintenance records and wear. Chartering first is a sensible way to test a yacht type — a separate arrangement with no "try before you buy" scheme.

Due diligence

Survey, haul-out, sea trial and technical work

An independent survey, haul-out inspection and sea trial are standard, usually after an offer is accepted in principle. Croatian yards and marinas offer technical, refit and wintering services; we compare options rather than assume one yard.

Title, encumbrances, registration, class and contracts should be checked by independent maritime lawyers. We coordinate; we do not give legal advice.

After purchase

Berths, size and draft

A purchase does not include a berth. Larger yachts have fewer Croatian marina options, and draft affects which harbours and anchorages you can use. Summer berths and wintering should be arranged early; availability is never assumed.

Yacht types

Sailing, motor and catamaran

Croatia's short island hops suit motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans alike. Catamarans are a major Croatian search — compare space and stability against draft, berth width and marina cost.

Tax

Croatian VAT and tax — no universal answer

Croatia applies EU VAT rules, but tax depends on the yacht's status, use, buyer and structure. Charter VAT is a separate question from purchase VAT. Take independent tax advice.

Built in Croatia, Croatian-flagged and located in Croatia are separate facts. Only a verified current location places a yacht on this page.

Buyers

First-time buyers, existing owners, new or used

First-time buyers get a structured brief and step-by-step process; existing owners can explore trading up or a discreet sale alongside a purchase. A new yacht offers specification and warranty; a pre-owned yacht can be owned and used sooner.

Logistics

Aviation, security and after purchase

Split, Dubrovnik and Zadar airports serve the coast; private aviation, transfers and discreet security can be coordinated for viewings. After purchase we help plan delivery, crew, management, berth and wintering.

Buyer-first

Buyer representation and off-market search

We act for the buyer: defining the brief, searching the market, contacting central agents, coordinating inspections, surveys and sea trials, and supporting negotiation and closing. Off-market means a confirmed opportunity shared privately — never a rumour.

Listings, asking terms, location and viewing availability are subject to verification and may change without notice. A yacht in a charter fleet, at a charter show or in a marina is not necessarily for sale, and a purchase does not include a berth. Marina and show figures are reported by those organisations and are not Lund Group data. Lund Group does not provide legal or tax advice and makes no promise of charter income. Lund Group is independent and not affiliated with Biograd Boat Show, CROYA, Croatia Charter Expo, ACI, D-Marin, Marina Kornati or any Croatian authority.
