No Publicly Verified Greece Listings Right Now
We currently have no public sale listing whose location in Greece we can verify. That does not mean there are no yachts to buy or view in Athens, Lavrion or the Greek islands. Brief our yacht desk and we will search the Greek and international market — including discreet and off-market opportunities — without presenting availability or location as confirmed until the seller or central agent verifies it.

Olympic Yacht Show
Greece's autumn show at Lavrion focuses on the Greek charter and brokerage fleet. It is useful for seeing yachts and meeting captains and crews in one place. Show yachts are not Lund Group listings: a yacht exhibited may be offered for charter only, for sale, or neither, and we confirm each yacht's identity and sale status with its central agent. A show ticket does not give access to a yacht, and a 2027 edition will only be shown here once officially announced. Show exhibits are not Lund Group inventory: a yacht on display is not necessarily for sale, being for sale does not mean it can be viewed there, and event access is not yacht access.
Future edition dates are shown only once announced by the organisers. Lund Group is not affiliated with the show.

Greece counts include only published sale listings whose Greece location was verified within the last 90 days, or whose Greece viewing is confirmed or on request. A median asking price is shown only with at least three priced Greece listings in one currency; currencies are never combined. We do not publish Greece transaction volumes, average prices or days on market without a documented dataset.
Approach
Buy in Greece. Search globally.
The right yacht for Greek cruising may currently be lying in Italy, France, Turkey or further afield. Greece can be where you view, survey, take delivery and base the yacht — not the limit of your search.
Context
Greece is several cruising areas, not one
Athens and the Saronic Gulf, the Cyclades, the Ionian, the Dodecanese and the Sporades each have a different sea state, distances and season. We record a yacht's verified port or island wherever possible rather than a generic "Greece" label.
Primary hub
Yacht acquisition in Athens
Athens is the logical buyer hub: international flights, major marinas, superyacht berthing, technical services and the professional charter ecosystem, with Lavrion and the Saronic and Cyclades within easy reach.
Ecosystem
Flisvos, Athens Marina and Alimos
Flisvos Marina reports around 310 berths for yachts from 15 to 110 metres, more than half able to take yachts over 30 metres, with deep-water capability.
Athens Marina, on Faliro Bay near Piraeus, is described as having capacity for around 130 yachts, with dedicated berths for yachts of roughly 50 to 130 metres.
Alimos Marina reports 1,100 permanent berths, including 50 suitable for yachts over 25 metres, and is central to the Greek charter fleet.
These figures describe the ecosystem only. Yachts in these marinas are not necessarily for sale, and a yacht purchase never includes a berth.
Technical
Lavrion and Olympic Marine
Olympic Marine at Lavrion offers marina services, a boatyard with travel lift, maintenance and repairs, refuelling and winter storage year-round — relevant for viewings, surveys, technical inspections and post-purchase maintenance. Lund Group does not own or represent Olympic Marine.
Clarity
Greek-built, Greek-flagged, Greek-owned ≠ in Greece
A yacht built in Greece, flying the Greek flag or owned by a Greek owner may be anywhere in the world. Only a verified current location places a yacht on this page; Greek-built yachts appear in their own section with their location shown separately.
Buyers
Private ownership or Greek commercial charter
Greece is one of the world's largest crewed charter markets, so many buyers ask whether a yacht could earn charter income. Private use and commercial charter carry different registration, crewing, licensing, safety and tax requirements.
If commercial charter in Greece is part of your plan, tell us early: it affects which yacht, flag and structure make sense. Specialist maritime lawyers and tax advisers should confirm the route. We make no promises of charter revenue or return on investment.
Chartering in Greece first is also a sensible way to test size and layout — a separate arrangement that does not guarantee any yacht is for sale.
Suitability
Meltemi, draft and range
The summer Meltemi can bring strong northerly winds in the Aegean, so stability, sea-keeping and stabilisers matter. Draft affects which anchorages and harbours you can use, and range matters for longer island passages.
Due diligence
Survey, inspection, sea trial and legal checks
An independent survey assesses condition and systems; haul-out inspection is possible at Greek yards; a sea trial shows performance underway. Title, encumbrances, registration and class should be checked by independent maritime lawyers. We coordinate; we do not give legal advice.
Tax
Greek VAT and tax — take proper advice
VAT and other taxes depend on the yacht's status, private or commercial use, the buyer, the structure and where the yacht operates. Greece applies EU VAT rules, but there is no single answer, and commercial charter taxation is a separate question from purchase tax.
After purchase
Berthing and wintering
A purchase does not include a berth. Summer berths in popular Greek marinas need planning, and wintering in water or ashore should be arranged early. We coordinate introductions; availability is never assumed.
Logistics
Private aviation and island viewings
Athens is the natural arrival point; private aviation, transfers and helicopter or onward flights can be coordinated for viewings in the islands. A yacht's real verified location is always shown before travel is arranged.
Buyers
First-time buyers, existing owners, new build or brokerage
First-time buyers get a structured brief and step-by-step process; existing owners can explore trading up, replacement or a discreet sale alongside a purchase. A brokerage yacht is quicker to own; a new build can be specified, with a longer timeline.

Discretion

Off-market means a genuine, confirmed opportunity shared privately — never a rumour. Confidential seller details are never published.
Questions
Buying a yacht in Greece — FAQ
Do you have yachts for sale in Greece right now?
Only yachts whose location in Greece is verified are shown above. If none appear, brief us and we will search the market for you.
Why don't you show your whole fleet here?
Because those yachts are not verified as being in Greece. The global inventory is at /yachts/for-sale.
Can I view a yacht in Athens?
Often, yes, once the central agent confirms location and viewing availability.
Are Greek-built yachts in Greece?
Not necessarily. Greek-built yachts are listed separately with their current location shown when verified.
When is the Olympic Yacht Show?
The 2026 edition runs 15–18 October 2026 at Olympic Marine, Lavrion.
Can I buy a yacht at the Olympic Yacht Show?
Some exhibited yachts may be for sale, many are charter yachts. We confirm sale status with the central agent before any discussion.
Does a show ticket give me access to yachts?
No. Boarding is at the discretion of each yacht and its agent.
Is Lund Group an official show partner?
No. We are independent of the Olympic Yacht Show and Olympic Marine.
Can I charter my yacht commercially in Greece?
It may be possible, but it carries specific licensing, crewing and tax requirements. Take specialist advice before you buy.
Will charter income cover my costs?
We make no such promise. Income depends on the yacht, management, demand and costs.
What VAT applies when buying in Greece?
It depends on the yacht's status, use and structure. Take independent tax advice.
Is charter tax the same as purchase tax?
No. They are separate questions.
Does a purchase include a berth?
No. Berths are arranged separately and are never assumed.
Which marinas suit superyachts near Athens?
Flisvos and Athens Marina are key large-yacht marinas; Alimos is central to the charter fleet.
Can surveys be done in Greece?
Yes. We introduce independent surveyors and can plan haul-out inspections at Greek yards such as Lavrion.
Does the Meltemi affect which yacht I should buy?
It can. Stability, sea-keeping and stabilisers matter for Aegean cruising.
Can I charter before I buy?
Yes, as a separate arrangement that does not guarantee a yacht is for sale.
Do you represent the buyer?
Yes. Our role is buyer-side.
Do you have off-market yachts in Greece?
Sometimes. They are shared privately and only once confirmed.
Does a Greek flag mean the yacht is in Greece?
No. Flag and location are separate.
Can you arrange aviation for island viewings?
Yes, from Athens to the islands.
Are asking prices final?
No. They are the seller's terms and can change.

Listings, asking terms, location and viewing availability are subject to verification and may change without notice. A yacht berthed in a marina or exhibited at a show is not necessarily for sale or available to view, and a purchase does not include a berth. Marina and show figures are reported by those organisations and are not Lund Group data. Lund Group does not provide legal or tax advice and makes no promise of charter income. Lund Group is independent and not affiliated with the Olympic Yacht Show, Olympic Marine, Flisvos Marina, Athens Marina, Alimos Marina, any port authority or Greek builder.
