Mallorca — Majorca in traditional English — is the largest of the Balearic Islands and one of the Mediterranean's most versatile charter bases. The south-west offers sheltered bays around Palma, Puerto Portals and Port Adriano; the north-west is the wild Serra de Tramuntana, with Sóller, Cala Deià and Sa Foradada.

A protected national-park archipelago south of Mallorca. Anchoring requires a permit, which we request for you in advance.

South-west Mallorca
Sheltered water from Palma to Port d'Andratx: Portals Vells, the Malgrats islets and Sa Dragonera. The easiest coast for day charters and families.
The Tramuntana coast
A UNESCO-listed mountain coast with few harbours. Sóller is the base; Cala Deià and Sa Foradada are best visited in settled weather.
Cabrera
A national-park archipelago to the south with regulated moorings. Permits are limited and requested in advance.

One day on the water
Morning
Embark in Puerto Portals or Palma and cruise west along the coast.
Midday
Swim and paddleboard at Portals Vells or in the lee of Sa Dragonera.
Afternoon
Lunch at anchor, then tender time into a quiet cala.
Sunset
Return along the bay of Palma as the cathedral lights up.

For guests staying in Palma or the south-west: morning embarkation, swim stops and lunch at anchor, back by evening.

Two or three nights on board are enough for the south-west and the Tramuntana coast.

How Much Does a Yacht Charter in Mallorca Cost?
We only publish price ranges when enough approved yachts are listed for Mallorca. Ask us for current rates for your dates.
Understanding your charter budget
The charter fee covers the yacht and crew. On top of it you should expect VAT where it applies, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) for fuel, food, drink and port fees, possible delivery fees if the yacht comes from another port, and a customary crew gratuity at your discretion. We set out every element before you sign.
Timing & travel
When to go, where to embark and how to arrive
The season runs from about May to October. July and August are the busiest; June and September often bring warm water, calmer marinas and more choice.
Most charters embark in Palma, Puerto Portals or Port Adriano, with Port d'Andratx and Sóller as alternatives. Berths are confirmed by each marina.
Palma de Mallorca airport (PMI) handles private aircraft. We arrange private jets to Mallorca, helicopters, chauffeured cars and villas around the yacht.
