Verified inventory

No Publicly Verified Florida Listings Right Now

No matching public inventory is currently verified in Florida. That does not mean there are no yachts to buy or view in Fort Lauderdale, Miami or Palm Beach. Brief our yacht desk and we will search the Florida and international market — including discreet and off-market opportunities — without presenting availability, location or import status as confirmed until the seller or central agent verifies it.

Upcoming · 28 October – 1 November 2026 · Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2026

FLIBS spreads across Fort Lauderdale: Broward County Convention Center, Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Hall of Fame Marina, Las Olas Marina, Pier Sixty-Six Marina and the Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six South. A boat on display may be a new model, dealer display, charter yacht or brokerage yacht — or not for sale at all. A ticket does not give access to every yacht; we request appointments for qualified buyers and confirm each yacht's exact identity and sale status with its central agent. Show exhibits are not Lund Group inventory: a yacht on display is not necessarily for sale, being for sale does not mean it can be viewed there, and event access is not yacht access.

Organiser figures: 100,000+ attendees, around 1,000 exhibitors, 90+ countries and 1,300+ boats displayed. Future edition dates are shown only once announced by the organisers. Lund Group is not affiliated with the show.

Palm Beach International Boat Show 2027

Florida's major spring show along the West Palm Beach waterfront. FLIBS is the larger autumn market; Palm Beach suits buyers in the winter season. Yacht boarding is at the discretion of each yacht's agent or representative, so we request appointments in advance and confirm sale status before any viewing. Show exhibits are not Lund Group inventory: a yacht on display is not necessarily for sale, being for sale does not mean it can be viewed there, and event access is not yacht access.

Future edition dates are shown only once announced by the organisers. Lund Group is not affiliated with the show.

Florida counts include only published sale listings whose Florida location was verified within the last 90 days, or whose Florida viewing is confirmed or on request. A median asking price is shown only with at least three priced Florida listings in one currency; currencies are never combined. We do not publish Florida transaction volumes, average prices or days on market without a documented dataset.

Scope

Florida yacht brokerage — and beyond

Florida is one of the world's most important yacht markets for brokerage, survey, refit and ownership. The right yacht may still lie in the Caribbean or the Mediterranean, with Florida as the place to view, survey or base it. National U.S. rules on documentation, coastwise trade and tax are covered on our USA page: /yachts/for-sale/location/usa.

Lead market

Fort Lauderdale yacht brokerage

Fort Lauderdale concentrates central agents, surveyors, yards, crew and service specialists along the New River and the Intracoastal Waterway, and hosts FLIBS each autumn. For most Florida acquisitions it is where viewings, surveys and post-purchase works come together.

Second hub

Miami

Miami combines international flights, owner lifestyle and Biscayne Bay. Miami charter yachts are not sale yachts: a yacht chartering in Miami is not offered for sale unless its central agent confirms it. For owner-style use of the area see our Miami charter page: /yachts/charter/miami.

Owner base

Palm Beach

Palm Beach is a long-established winter-season owner base with deep-water superyacht infrastructure and the spring Palm Beach International Boat Show.

Choosing

Fort Lauderdale vs Miami vs Palm Beach

Fort Lauderdale: brokerage density, refit and FLIBS. Miami: flights, lifestyle and Biscayne Bay. Palm Beach: owner community, deep-water berthing and the spring show. Travel times depend on traffic, airports and the season, so we plan them around confirmed appointments rather than quoting fixed figures.

Florida differentiator

Foreign-flagged yachts for sale in Florida

Certain Florida superyacht facilities operate within U.S. Foreign Trade Zones, which can facilitate the display and sale process for qualifying foreign-flagged yachts under the applicable customs framework. Current examples include Safe Harbor Lauderdale Marine Center in Fort Lauderdale and Safe Harbor Rybovich in West Palm Beach; they are not the only options.

An FTZ does not mean a yacht is U.S. duty paid, that a buyer owes no import duty, that the yacht can freely leave and re-enter, that it is eligible for U.S. charter, or that it becomes U.S.-documented. Implications are transaction-specific and must be confirmed by customs specialists. Lund Group does not give customs or tax advice.

Clarity

Import status is not sale status

A yacht in Florida may be foreign-flagged and not imported, in an FTZ, under a temporary framework, or U.S. duty paid. We show "duty paid" only when documented by the seller, and never infer it from location. Import status says nothing about whether a yacht is actually for sale.

Technical

Survey, refit and superyacht infrastructure

Survey & refit in Fort Lauderdale: Lauderdale Marine Center is one example of the region's technical ecosystem for survey, repair, refit and buyer works.

Palm Beach superyacht infrastructure: Rybovich reports deep-water access, berthing for yachts up to approximately 100m, full-service technical capability and FTZ capability. Current berth availability is never assumed.

Large-yacht refit in South Florida: Derecktor Dania reports a 17+ acre facility, 900-ton and 200-ton mobile hoists and servicing of yachts up to approximately 67m. Very-large-yacht capability: Derecktor Fort Pierce reports a 1,500-ton mobile hoist and capability up to approximately 152m with direct deep-water access.

Figures are operator-reported. Lund Group is not affiliated with these facilities, and a yacht in a shipyard is not necessarily for sale.

Due diligence

Survey, haul-out and sea trial

An independent survey, haul-out inspection and sea trial are standard, usually after an offer is accepted in principle. Florida's surveyor and yard capacity makes scheduling practical, but slots, weather and the yacht's location determine timing — we never promise dates in advance.

Buyer-first

Private buyer representation

Lund Group works on the buyer's side: defining the brief, searching Florida and global markets, contacting central agents, coordinating viewings, comparing terms, introducing surveyors and lawyers, and supporting closing. Where a yacht is listed by a central agent, we co-broker transparently. Off-market means a confirmed opportunity shared privately — never a rumour.

Pricing

Asking prices in USD, length in feet and metres

Florida listings are usually priced in U.S. dollars and measured in feet. Asking prices are the seller's terms and may change; conversions are indicative only. We show length in metres with feet where known.

Due diligence

Title and lien checks

Federal documentation and state titling are separate systems. Maritime lawyers should check recorded ownership, mortgages, liens and closing documents. We coordinate; we do not give legal advice.

Tax

Florida sales and use tax

Florida sales and use tax can apply to yacht purchases depending on delivery, use and the buyer's circumstances, and Florida has specific rules and conditional caps. There is no universal tax-free route; take independent tax advice before contracting. Private versus commercial use also changes the analysis — see the USA page for national rules.

Owner use

Bahamas and Florida Keys

Many Florida owners cruise the Bahamas. Clearance, cruising permits and draft matter — shallow banks around the Exumas favour yachts with modest draft. Explore /yachts/charter/bahamas and /yachts/charter/exumas. The Florida Keys offer domestic cruising with their own depth and access considerations.

Risk

Hurricane and insurance planning

Florida lies in the Atlantic hurricane belt. Agree a hurricane plan with insurers, captain and marina, and confirm insurance terms before choosing a home port. Insurer requirements can affect where and when a yacht may be kept.

After purchase

Berthing and bridge clearance

A purchase does not include a berth. Larger yachts face limits on draft, beam and bridge clearance on parts of the Intracoastal and river systems, so check access before committing to a marina. Seasonal berths should be planned early; availability is never assumed.

Planning

Plan a Florida yacht viewing trip

Tell us your arrival city, dates and yachts of interest; whether you want Fort Lauderdale, Miami or Palm Beach; and whether FLIBS, the Palm Beach show, a shipyard visit or a survey-adviser meeting is involved. We build the itinerary around confirmed appointments only. Private aviation, ground transport and security can be coordinated through Lund Group.

Buyers

First-time buyers, existing owners, new build or brokerage

First-time buyers get a structured brief and step-by-step process. Existing owners can trade up or discreetly sell a current yacht. Brokerage yachts can be owned quickly; new builds offer specification with a longer timeline — a new build shown at FLIBS does not mean a build slot is available.
