Part of the Caribbean & Atlantic market · Yachts for sale in the Caribbean
The Bahamas counts include only published sale listings whose The Bahamas location was verified within the last 90 days, or whose The Bahamas viewing is confirmed or on request. A median asking price is shown only with at least three priced The Bahamas listings in one currency; currencies are never combined. We do not publish The Bahamas transaction volumes, average prices or days on market without a documented dataset.
Method
Only yachts verified in The Bahamas
A yacht appears here only when its current sale or viewing location is verified within The Bahamas. Chartering or cruising there, a past visit to Nassau, a Bahamian flag or owning company, photographs or event attendance never qualify a yacht.
A yacht in Florida that could cruise across is a Florida yacht, listed on the Florida page.
Hub
Nassau and Paradise Island
Nassau and Paradise Island are the main superyacht centre of The Bahamas, with deep-water marinas, provisioning and international flights. Most viewings start here.
Discovery
The wider islands
Yachts may also lie in the Exumas, the Abacos, Eleuthera, Bimini or Grand Bahama. We name islands only in general terms and never publish an exact berth without the seller's consent.
Geography
The Bahamas and the Caribbean
The Bahamas lies in the Atlantic, north of the Caribbean Sea, and is often grouped commercially with the Caribbean. On this site it has its own page; a yacht in the Caribbean islands is not listed as a Bahamas yacht.
Geography
The Bahamas and Florida
Florida is a short hop away and is one of the world's largest brokerage markets. The two are kept separate: different countries, different customs regimes and different viewing logistics. Many buyers compare both.
Viewings
Viewings and seasonal timing
Winter and spring are the main season. Summer and autumn fall within the Atlantic hurricane season, which can affect where yachts are kept and when viewings and trials are practical. We verify the location and arrange discreet access with the seller's agent.
Diligence
Sea trials and surveys in tropical conditions
Heat, humidity and warm water test air conditioning, cooling and generators. An independent pre-purchase survey is arranged with surveyors chosen for the buyer; haul-out may require a yard elsewhere, which we plan in advance.
Diligence
Acquisition due diligence
Title, encumbrances, class, flag, maintenance and crew records are confirmed from documents, not from the listing.
Advisory
Buyer representation
Lund Group represents the buyer, coordinating with the seller's central agent, lawyers, surveyors and escrow providers from memorandum of agreement to closing.
Discretion
Private-market sourcing
Not every yacht in The Bahamas is publicly listed. On a private brief we approach the market discreetly and present an opportunity only when the seller or an authorised representative confirms it.
Caution
Customs, import and tax
Being located in The Bahamas does not establish a yacht's customs, import, cruising-permit or tax status, and rules for foreign-flagged yachts, charter and onward travel to the USA differ.
These questions are answered by independent legal, tax and customs advisors, from documents. Lund Group does not give tax advice.
Structure
Flag and registry
The Bahamas is a widely used flag state. A Bahamian flag does not mean a yacht is in The Bahamas, and a yacht in The Bahamas may fly any flag.
Logistics
Getting to a viewing
Nassau's international airport and several Out Island airports serve private aviation. Lund Group can arrange private flights, including from Florida or New York, and transfers to the marina.
Process
How a Bahamas purchase works with Lund Group
Define the brief, search the market, verify location and documentation, view and compare, negotiate, sea trial and survey, close, then hand over with crew, insurance and first-season planning.
Owners
Selling a yacht in The Bahamas
Owners with a yacht in The Bahamas can brief us for a discreet market review. We never publish a berth or owner details without consent.

Listings, asking terms, location and viewing availability are subject to verification and may change without notice. A yacht is listed here only from its verified current or viewing location in The Bahamas — never from charter area, cruising history, a Bahamian flag, a Bahamian owning company, photographs, events or proximity from Florida. Location does not determine flag, registry, customs, import or tax status. Exact berths are not published. Lund Group does not provide legal or tax advice; take independent professional advice. Lund Group is independent and not affiliated with any marina, resort, port authority or government body.
