No Publicly Verified Monaco Listings Right Now
We currently have no public sale listing whose Monaco location we can verify. That does not mean there are no yachts available to acquire or inspect through Monaco. Give us your brief and our yacht desk can search the wider brokerage market, including discreet and off-market opportunities, without presenting availability or location as confirmed until verified.

Worldwide — not located in Monaco.
Monaco counts include only published sale listings whose Monaco location was verified within the last 90 days, or whose Monaco viewing is confirmed or on request. A median asking price is shown only with at least three priced Monaco listings in one currency; currencies are never combined. We do not publish Monaco transaction volumes, average prices or days on market without a documented dataset.
Context
Monaco is a buyer hub, not the whole market
Many buyers, owners, brokers and advisers are based in or pass through Monaco, but the yachts they buy are usually lying across the Mediterranean or further afield. A Monaco-based search is normally an international search, coordinated from here.
Definitions
Located in Monaco, viewable in Monaco, or sourced through Monaco
We keep three things separate. A yacht shown as "Located in Monaco" has a recently verified physical location in Monaco. "Viewing in Monaco" means a viewing there has been explicitly confirmed or is possible on request. "Sourced through Monaco" means we are helping a Monaco-based buyer acquire a yacht from the international market — those yachts are not shown here as Monaco inventory.
Location data expires. If we cannot re-verify where a yacht is, the Monaco label is removed.
Buyer-first
Buyer representation
Lund Group can act for the buyer: defining the brief, screening the market, comparing yachts honestly, arranging viewings, and coordinating negotiation, survey, sea trial and closing with your lawyers and advisers. We say when a yacht is not right for you.
Process
How buying a yacht through Monaco works
Brief, shortlist, viewings, offer and memorandum of agreement, deposit into escrow, survey and sea trial, acceptance, closing and delivery. Timelines vary with the yacht, its location and the parties involved; we plan each step with you and your advisers.
Viewings
Private viewings in Monaco
A yacht for sale is not automatically available to view. Viewings depend on the owner, the listing broker, the crew and the yacht's programme. Where a yacht is in Monaco, or can be brought here, we arrange private and discreet viewings around your schedule.
Ports
Port Hercule and Port de Fontvieille
Port Hercule is Monaco's main harbour and hosts the Monaco Yacht Show each September; Port de Fontvieille is smaller and suits smaller yachts. Berth availability in either is limited and is never implied by a yacht's sale or viewing.
Monaco Yacht Show
Buying around the Monaco Yacht Show
The show is a natural moment to view several yachts in one week. But a yacht displayed at the show is not necessarily for sale, and a yacht for sale is not necessarily open for viewing. We prepare a shortlist beforehand, request appointments early, and arrange private viewings before or after the show where that suits you better.
Due diligence
Sea trials, surveys and legal checks
A sea trial tests the yacht underway; a survey by an independent, qualified surveyor examines hull, machinery and systems; legal due diligence covers title, encumbrances, flag, classification and compliance. These are conducted with your appointed surveyor and lawyers, not by Lund Group.
Tax
VAT and tax — take proper advice
VAT and other taxes depend on the yacht's status, flag, ownership structure, intended use and where it will operate. Buying through or near Monaco does not by itself determine the tax treatment. We work alongside your tax advisers rather than giving tax advice.
Clarity
Flag is not location; a berth is not a purchase
A yacht's flag is its registration, not where it is. And buying a yacht does not include a berth in Monaco — berthing is arranged separately and is often limited.
After closing
Management, crew and refit
After closing, owners decide on management, crew, insurance, flag and any refit. Lund Group can introduce management companies, refit yards and crew specialists, and coordinate the handover, without presenting any one provider as the default.
Options
New build or brokerage?
Brokerage yachts can be acquired quickly; new builds take years but are built to your brief. Some buyers consider both — we can compare them honestly.
Buyers
First-time buyers and existing owners
First-time buyers often benefit from chartering first and from a clear running-cost picture. Existing owners replacing a yacht may want to coordinate a sale and purchase together.
Owners
Selling your yacht
If you own a yacht and are considering a sale, we can discuss confidential marketing, co-brokerage and pricing. Listings shown on Lund Group are attributed to the listing agent where applicable.
Discretion
Off-market yachts and confidential briefs
Off-market does not mean unverified. Some owners prefer not to list publicly; such yachts are presented privately, and only once ownership, authority to sell and key facts are confirmed. A confidential brief lets you search without revealing your identity.
Logistics
Aviation, privacy and security
We can arrange private aviation for viewing trips, discreet ground transport and, where needed, private security — keeping your search private throughout.
Questions
Buying a yacht in Monaco — FAQ
Are there yachts for sale in Monaco right now?
This page shows only sale listings whose Monaco location or viewing we have verified. When none are shown, we can still search the wider market for you, including discreet opportunities.
Why don't you show all your sale yachts here?
Because they are not verified as being in Monaco. Our full inventory is on the yachts-for-sale page.
Can I view a yacht in Monaco?
Sometimes. Viewings depend on the owner, listing broker and the yacht's programme. We confirm viewings before presenting them.
Is every yacht at the Monaco Yacht Show for sale?
No. Many yachts are exhibited without being for sale, and some for-sale yachts are not open to viewing.
Can you arrange viewings during the Monaco Yacht Show?
We can request appointments and prepare a shortlist in advance, or arrange private viewings before or after the show.
Does buying a yacht include a berth in Monaco?
No. Berths are arranged separately and are limited in Monaco.
Is buying a yacht in Monaco VAT-free?
Not necessarily. Tax depends on the yacht, flag, structure and use. Please take independent tax advice.
Do I need a surveyor?
Yes. An independent, qualified surveyor and a sea trial are standard parts of a careful purchase.
Can I buy an off-market yacht?
Yes, where an owner is open to a discreet sale. Off-market yachts are presented only once key facts are verified.
Can you represent me as a buyer?
Yes. We can act on the buyer's side, from brief to closing, alongside your lawyers and advisers.
How long does a yacht purchase take?
From a few weeks to several months, depending on the yacht, due diligence and the parties involved.
What deposit is typical?
A deposit is commonly paid into escrow on signing the agreement, with the percentage agreed in the contract.
Can I buy a new build through Lund Group?
Yes. We can compare new-build and brokerage routes and introduce builders.
Can you help me sell my current yacht?
Yes, including coordinating a sale alongside a new purchase.
Do you work with other brokers?
Yes. Co-brokerage is normal, and listings are attributed to the listing agent where applicable.
What is the average price of a yacht in Monaco?
We don't publish an average unless we have enough verified Monaco listings in one currency. Prices depend far more on size, builder, age and condition than on location.
Can you help with management and crew after purchase?
Yes, through introductions to management companies, crew agencies and refit yards.
Can family offices and advisers enquire?
Yes. We work directly with family offices, lawyers and advisers.
Can my search stay confidential?
Yes. You can brief us confidentially and we will not disclose your identity without consent.
Can you arrange travel for viewings?
Yes, including private aviation and ground transport.
