No Publicly Verified Spain Listings Right Now

We currently have no public sale listing whose location in Spain we can verify. That does not mean there are no yachts to buy, view or inspect in Barcelona, Palma or elsewhere in Spain. Brief our yacht desk and we will search the international market — including discreet and off-market opportunities — without presenting availability or location as confirmed until the seller or central agent verifies it.

Upcoming · 14–18 October 2026 · Port Vell, Barcelona

Barcelona International Boat Show

Barcelona's autumn show brings motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans to the city waterfront, with on-water experiences for some boats. An on-water experience at a show is not a guaranteed sea trial of a yacht you intend to buy. Show exhibits are not Lund Group inventory: a yacht on display is not necessarily for sale, being for sale does not mean it can be viewed there, and event access is not yacht access.

2026 organiser figures: more than 200 boats and more than 130 product launches. Future edition dates are shown only once announced by the organisers. Lund Group is not affiliated with the show.

Upcoming · 28 April – 1 May 2027 · Palma de Mallorca

Palma International Boat Show

Palma's spring show opens the Mediterranean season. Its Superyacht Village presents a curated selection of yachts over 24 metres offered for sale and/or charter through brokerage houses — the most directly relevant show moment for Spain-based buyers. Superyacht Village yachts are not imported into Lund Group inventory; we confirm each one's identity and sale status with its central agent. Show exhibits are not Lund Group inventory: a yacht on display is not necessarily for sale, being for sale does not mean it can be viewed there, and event access is not yacht access.

Organiser-published figures: 295 exhibitors and more than 300 yachts. Future edition dates are shown only once announced by the organisers. Lund Group is not affiliated with the show.

Spain counts include only published sale listings whose Spain location was verified within the last 90 days, or whose Spain viewing is confirmed or on request. A median asking price is shown only with at least three priced Spain listings in one currency; currencies are never combined. We do not publish Spain transaction volumes, average prices or days on market without a documented dataset.

Context

Spain is regions and islands, not one place

Yachts for sale in Spain may be lying in Barcelona, Palma, elsewhere on Mallorca, Ibiza, the Costa del Sol or the Atlantic coast. Mallorca is not Ibiza, and neither is a generic "Spain" label — we record the verified port or island wherever possible.

Buy in Spain, search globally: the right yacht may be lying elsewhere in the Mediterranean, with Spain as the place to view, survey or take delivery.

Two hubs

Barcelona and Palma — different roles

Barcelona is an acquisition and technical hub: a major city with international flights, Marina Port Vell's superyacht berths at its heart and significant refit capacity nearby.

Palma de Mallorca is a brokerage and superyacht hub: many yachts, crews, captains and brokers are based there for the Balearic season, and the spring show opens the Mediterranean market.

Many buyers use both — technical work and inspection in Barcelona, viewings and season planning in Palma.

Spain-specific

Survey, refit and technical work in Barcelona

MB92 Barcelona is one of the Mediterranean's major superyacht refit yards. As reported by the shipyard (October 2026): a 126,000 m² site, a 4,800-tonne shiplift for yachts up to 115 metres with up to nine yachts on hard standing, and a 220 m × 36 m dry dock.

MB92 announced investment (July 2026): a further €40 million infrastructure programme for 2026–2028, covering expansion, additional hard standing, new lifting capacity, dry-dock rehabilitation and environmental improvements.

For a buyer this means pre-purchase inspection, condition assessment and post-purchase works can often be planned close to the viewing. Lund Group does not own, operate or represent MB92; we coordinate introductions and acquisition logistics.

Spain-specific

Survey and refit in Palma

STP Shipyard Palma reports (October 2026) a 130,000 m² technical area, 86,000 m² of land area, 44,000 m² of berthing area and 53 berths for yachts up to 120 metres, with multiple travel lifts.

Lund Group is not affiliated with STP. We can coordinate independent surveyors and technical discussions around a Palma viewing.

Clarity

A refit location is not a sale location

A yacht in refit in Barcelona or Palma is not automatically for sale, and a yacht for sale is not necessarily viewable during works. Current location, current shipyard, sale status and viewing availability are recorded separately, and a yacht in a yard becomes an opportunity only after seller or central-agent confirmation.

Ownership use

The Balearics as an ownership area

Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera are why many owners base a yacht in Spain: short hops between anchorages, a long season and strong local yacht services. That shapes what kind of yacht suits you — draft, tender capacity, range and guest layout.

Buyers

Charter before you buy

Chartering in the Balearics is a sensible way to test a size, layout or style of yacht before committing. A charter is a separate commercial arrangement — we do not offer a "try before you buy" scheme or guarantee that a chartered yacht is, or will be, for sale.

Buyer-first

Buyer representation

Lund Group acts for the buyer: we search the market, compare yachts and builders side by side, coordinate independent specialists and support negotiation on your behalf.

Discretion

Private and off-market search

Some owners prefer to sell quietly. Off-market means a genuine, confirmed opportunity shared privately — never a rumour — and we never publish confidential seller details.

Due diligence

Sea trial, survey and legal checks

A sea trial shows how a yacht performs underway; an independent survey assesses condition, systems and compliance in depth. Most buyers need both, usually after an offer is accepted in principle.

Title, encumbrances, registration, class and the contract should be checked by independent maritime lawyers. We coordinate the timetable; we do not give legal advice.

Tax

Spanish VAT and tax — take proper advice

VAT and any other taxes depend on the yacht's status, its private or commercial use, the buyer, the ownership structure and where the yacht operates. Spain is an EU member state, so EU VAT rules apply, but no single rule fits every acquisition. We will not describe a yacht as VAT-paid or exempt without documentation.

Clarity

Spanish flag is not Spain location

A Spanish-flagged yacht may be lying elsewhere; a foreign-flagged yacht may be berthed in Palma. Only a verified current location or confirmed viewing places a yacht on this page.

After closing

Berths — the current berth may not transfer

Summer berths in Palma, Ibiza and Barcelona can be scarce. A yacht's current berth is normally a separate arrangement and does not transfer with the sale unless documented. We help plan berthing early without promising any specific space.

Buyers

First-time buyers and existing owners

First-time buyers benefit from a clear explanation of running costs, crew and season planning. Existing owners usually want a sharper comparison, a trade-up plan or help selling in parallel.

Options

New build or brokerage?

A new build gives specification control at the cost of time; a brokerage yacht can be enjoyed in the Balearics this season. We set out both routes side by side.

Logistics

Barcelona and Palma in one trip

A short flight connects the two hubs, so a brief can combine a technical inspection in Barcelona with viewings in Palma. We can coordinate private aviation, ground transport and discreet security for principals and family offices.

Ownership

After the acquisition — management and charter

Management, crew, insurance and maintenance can be arranged with specialists you appoint. If you intend to charter the yacht, commercial use affects registration, compliance and tax; take advice before deciding.

Questions

Buying a yacht in Spain — FAQ

How many yachts for sale are currently in Spain?

This page counts only published Lund Group sale listings whose location in Spain was verified within the last 90 days, or with a confirmed or on-request viewing in Spain. Our global fleet count is shown separately.

Why might the page show no yachts in Spain?

Because we only show verified locations. An empty count does not mean there are no yachts to buy in Spain; brief us and we will search the wider market.

Do you cover Mallorca and Ibiza?

Yes. We record the verified island or port rather than a generic Spain label, and search internationally.

Barcelona or Palma — where should I look?

Barcelona suits technical work and inspection; Palma suits brokerage viewings and season planning. Many buyers use both.

When is the Barcelona International Boat Show?

The 2026 edition runs 14–18 October at Port Vell. We publish future dates only once announced.

Are yachts at the Barcelona show for sale?

Some are, many are not. Show exhibits are not Lund Group inventory, and an on-water experience is not a guaranteed sea trial.

When is the Palma International Boat Show?

The 2027 edition is scheduled for 28 April – 1 May 2027 in Palma de Mallorca.

What is the Palma Superyacht Village?

A curated show area of yachts over 24 metres offered for sale and/or charter through brokerage houses. We confirm each yacht's sale status with its central agent before presenting it.

Does event access mean I can board a yacht?

No. Show tickets and yacht viewings are separate; viewings are arranged with the central agent.

Can I arrange a refit or survey in Barcelona?

Yes. Barcelona has major refit capacity; we can coordinate independent surveyors and introductions. Lund Group is not affiliated with any yard.

Can I arrange a refit or survey in Palma?

Yes. Palma has significant refit and technical infrastructure, and we can coordinate inspections around a viewing.

Is a yacht in refit in Spain for sale?

Not automatically. A refit location is not a sale location.

Can I sea-trial a yacht in Spain?

Where the seller agrees and weather, crew and port conditions allow — usually after an offer is accepted in principle.

Is a survey the same as a sea trial?

No. Most buyers need both.

Will I pay Spanish VAT?

It depends on the yacht's VAT status, its use, the buyer and the ownership structure. Take advice from qualified tax and legal advisers.

Does a Spanish-flagged yacht have to be in Spain?

No. Flag and current location are separate facts.

Does the current berth come with the yacht?

Normally not, unless specifically documented.

Can I charter before I buy?

Yes, chartering is a good way to test a yacht type, but it is a separate arrangement and does not guarantee a yacht is for sale.

Do you represent the buyer?

Yes. Our role is buyer-side.

Do you have off-market yachts in Spain?

Sometimes. Off-market opportunities are shared privately and only once confirmed.

Are asking prices final?

No. Asking prices are the seller's terms and can change.

Can you organise aviation and security for viewings?

Yes, including Barcelona–Palma itineraries.
