Overview
What Is the Cessna Citation Longitude?
The Citation Longitude is the efficiency-led super midsize: fast, quiet, operationally mature and sized for missions where 3,500 nautical miles is already enough.
Praetor 600E gives you more published range. Challenger 3500 gives you more cabin width. Longitude builds its case around speed, quiet, efficiency and a mature clean-sheet platform.
As with any model, the individual aircraft matters more than the name. Layout, connectivity and operator differ between aircraft, and we confirm the actual aircraft against your route, passengers, luggage and airports.

Right-sizing
Citation Latitude or Longitude?
Citation Latitude
A midsize Citation with a flat floor and shorter range; ideal for regional trips.
Citation Longitude
The super midsize step up: more range, more speed, a longer cabin and walk-in baggage.
When to upgrade
When trips regularly exceed Latitude range, or you want fully berthable seats and in-flight baggage access.
When to step up
For the longest nonstop sectors or a larger cabin, a long-range jet such as the Global 6500.
Range
What Does the Published Range Actually Mean?
Published maximum: 3,500 nm source.
The published figure
Cessna publishes 3,500 nm with four passengers. It is a maximum under stated conditions, not a promise for every flight.
Speed
483 ktas maximum cruise and Mach 0.84 maximum limit speed, as quoted by Textron. Flying faster reduces range.
Selected transatlantic
Some city pairs are possible nonstop; never assumed. Winds, payload and season are calculated per flight.
Payload
A 1,600 lb full-fuel payload is quoted. More passengers or luggage reduce range.
