No Publicly Verified France Listings Right Now
We currently have no public sale listing whose location in France we can verify. That does not mean there are no yachts to acquire, view or inspect in France. Brief our yacht desk and we will search the wider international market — including discreet and off-market opportunities — without presenting availability or location as confirmed until the seller or central agent verifies it.

Worldwide — not located in France.
France counts include only published sale listings whose France location was verified within the last 90 days, or whose France viewing is confirmed or on request. A median asking price is shown only with at least three priced France listings in one currency; currencies are never combined. We do not publish France transaction volumes, average prices or days on market without a documented dataset.
Context
France is a country, not one marina
Yachts for sale in France may lie anywhere from Saint-Tropez, Cannes and Antibes to Marseille, La Ciotat, Corsica or the Atlantic coast. We record a yacht's verified port or city wherever possible, so a France label is never vaguer than it needs to be.
Monaco is a separate principality and has its own buyer page; Monaco yachts are never counted as France inventory.
Strategy
Buy in France. Search globally.
The right yacht for a France-based buyer is often lying elsewhere in the Mediterranean or further afield. We treat France as a place to view, inspect and take delivery — while the search itself covers the international brokerage market.
South of France
The South of France buyer hub
The Côte d'Azur concentrates owners, brokers, captains, surveyors and yacht-service specialists within a short drive of each other. That makes it practical for comparative viewings, technical discussions and closing logistics, without implying any particular yacht is available there.
Cannes
Cannes and the Cannes Yachting Festival
Cannes is a working yachting town with a busy autumn show season. The Cannes Yachting Festival brings many new and brokerage yachts together over a few days, which can be efficient for first viewings and builder conversations.
Official show exhibits are not Lund Group inventory. A yacht displayed at the show is not necessarily for sale, and being for sale does not mean it can be viewed there. We match show exhibits to verified sale listings only after confirming with the seller or central agent.

Viewings
Antibes and Côte d'Azur viewings
Antibes and the neighbouring Riviera ports are common places to view larger yachts. Viewings are arranged through the central agent, subject to owner approval, charter schedules and crew availability — we never list a viewing as confirmed until it is.

France-specific
Survey, refit and technical inspection in France
France is not only a sales and viewing market. La Ciotat, near Marseille, is a major superyacht refit and repair centre, and the wider south coast has experienced yards, surveyors and specialist contractors.
That matters to buyers: pre-purchase technical discussions, condition assessments, refit planning, shipyard inspections and post-purchase works can often be coordinated in France. Lund Group does not own or operate any shipyard; we coordinate introductions and acquisition-related logistics.
A yacht undergoing work in a French yard is not automatically for sale. Current location, current shipyard, sale status and viewing availability are recorded separately, and a yacht in refit becomes an acquisition opportunity only after seller or central-agent confirmation.
Due diligence
Inspection, sea trial, survey and legal checks
A sea trial shows how a yacht performs underway; an independent survey assesses its condition, systems and compliance in depth. They answer different questions and one does not replace the other.
Legal due diligence — title, encumbrances, registration, class and the contract itself — should be handled by independent maritime lawyers. We coordinate the timetable and the specialists; we do not give legal advice.
Tax
VAT and tax — do not oversimplify France
VAT treatment depends on the yacht's status, its use (private or commercial), the buyer, the ownership structure and where the yacht will operate. France is an EU member state, so EU VAT rules apply, but no single rule fits every acquisition.
We will not tell you a yacht is VAT-paid or exempt without documentation. Take advice from qualified tax and legal advisers before signing.
Clarity
French flag, French-built and located in France are different things
A French-flagged yacht may be lying in the Caribbean; a French-built yacht may never return to France; a foreign-flagged yacht may be berthed in Antibes. Only verified current location or viewing availability places a yacht on this page.
After closing
Berthing after acquisition — a current berth is not part of the sale
Berths on the Riviera can be scarce in season. A yacht's current berth is normally a separate arrangement with the marina or port and does not transfer with the sale unless specifically documented. We can help you plan berthing early, without promising any specific space.
Ownership
After the acquisition
Management, crew, insurance, maintenance planning and any post-purchase refit can be arranged with specialists you appoint. We help organise the handover so the yacht is ready to use, not just transferred on paper.
Options
New yacht or pre-owned?
A new build gives you specification control at the cost of time; a pre-owned yacht can be enjoyed this season. We set out both routes side by side so the decision is commercial, not emotional.
Logistics
A buyer viewing itinerary in France
A typical brief might combine two or three Riviera viewings in a day, a technical discussion with a surveyor, and a second visit for a sea trial. We can coordinate aviation, ground transport and discreet security around it.
Privacy
Aviation, privacy and security
Principals can arrive by private aviation and view yachts discreetly. We keep briefs confidential and share identity only with the people who need it.
Buyers
First-time buyers and existing owners
First-time buyers often benefit from chartering first and a clear explanation of running costs. Existing owners usually want a sharper comparison, a trade-up plan or help selling their current yacht in parallel.
Market practice
Co-brokerage, central agents and asking prices
Many yachts are marketed through a central agent and offered to buyers through co-brokerage. Asking prices are the seller's terms, not valuations or transaction prices, and sale status can change quickly. We confirm details with the central agent before presenting them as current.
Discretion
Off-market yachts and confidential briefs
Some owners prefer to sell quietly. Off-market means a genuine, confirmed opportunity shared privately — never a rumour. We present it only once the seller or their representative has confirmed it.
Questions
Buying a yacht in France — FAQ
How many yachts for sale are currently in France?
This page shows only published Lund Group sale listings whose location in France was verified within the last 90 days, or with a confirmed or on-request viewing in France. Our global fleet count is shown separately and is not a France count.
Why might the page show no yachts in France?
Because we only show verified locations. An empty page does not mean there are no yachts to buy in France; brief us and we will search the wider market.
Can I view a yacht in France?
Often, yes — subject to the central agent, owner approval, charter schedules and crew availability. We confirm viewings before presenting them as available.
Do you cover the French Riviera and Côte d'Azur?
Yes. Most France viewings take place along the Riviera, including Cannes, Antibes and Saint-Tropez, but we search internationally.
Is Monaco included in France?
No. Monaco is a separate principality with its own buyer page, and Monaco yachts are never counted as France inventory.
Are yachts at the Cannes Yachting Festival for sale?
Some are, many are not. Show exhibits are not Lund Group inventory, and we confirm sale status with the seller or central agent before presenting any exhibit as an opportunity.
Can you arrange a sea trial in Cannes?
Where the seller agrees and weather, crew and port conditions allow, a sea trial can be arranged — usually after an offer is accepted in principle.
Can I arrange a survey or technical inspection in France?
Yes. We can introduce independent surveyors and coordinate inspections, including at French refit yards. You appoint and pay the surveyor directly.
Is a yacht in refit at La Ciotat for sale?
Not automatically. A refit location is not a sale location; a yacht becomes an opportunity only after seller or central-agent confirmation.
Do you own or operate a shipyard?
No. Lund Group is independent and coordinates introductions and logistics only.
Is a survey the same as a sea trial?
No. A sea trial tests performance underway; a survey assesses condition, systems and compliance in depth. Most buyers need both.
Will I pay French VAT?
It depends on the yacht's VAT status, its use, the buyer and the ownership structure. Take advice from qualified tax and legal advisers; we will not assume VAT status without documentation.
Does a French-flagged yacht have to be in France?
No. Flag, build country and current location are separate facts.
Does the current berth come with the yacht?
Normally not. Berths are usually separate arrangements with the marina or port and transfer only if specifically documented.
Can you help find a berth after purchase?
We can help plan berthing early, but we never promise a specific space.
Do you represent the buyer?
Yes. Our role is buyer-side: sourcing, comparison, negotiation support and coordination of the specialists you appoint.
Do you have off-market yachts in France?
Sometimes. Off-market opportunities are shared privately and only once confirmed by the seller or their representative — never as rumours.
Are asking prices final?
No. Asking prices are the seller's terms and can change; they are not valuations or transaction prices.
Can I buy a new build through you?
Yes. We can compare new-build slots and brokerage yachts so you can choose between time and specification control.
Can you organise aviation and security for viewings?
Yes. We can coordinate private aviation, ground transport and discreet security around a France viewing itinerary.

Listings, asking terms, location and viewing availability are subject to verification and may change without notice. A yacht exhibited at a show or lying in a French shipyard is not necessarily for sale or available to view. Lund Group does not provide legal or tax advice; take independent professional advice.
