Overview
What Is the Dassault Falcon 6X?
The Falcon 6X is the cabin-first Dassault, designed for clients who value width, height, light and airport flexibility more than maximum ultra-long-range capability.
Falcon 8X gives you more range. Falcon 6X gives you more cabin. It is a twin-engine, purpose-built business-jet cabin with 30 large windows and a galley skylight, combined with short-field and steep-approach capability.
As with any model, the individual aircraft matters more than the name. Layout, connectivity and operator differ between aircraft, and we confirm the actual aircraft against your route, passengers, luggage and airports.
Status
Certified, In Service and Current Production
In service is not the same as available for charter on your date. We check live inventory for every request.

Right-sizing
Falcon 6X, 8X or 10X?
Choose the Falcon 6X when
Cabin width, height and natural light matter most, the trip is within its range, and airport flexibility is useful.
Choose the Falcon 8X when
You need more range and the three-engine Falcon's longest sectors.
About the Falcon 10X
Dassault's future flagship, in flight test. Not available for charter.
Consider a G600 or Global 6500 when
You need more published range in a comparable size class.
Range
What Does the Published Range Actually Mean?
Published maximum: 5,500 nm source.
The published figure
Dassault publishes 5,500 nm maximum range. It is a maximum under stated conditions, not a promise for every flight.
High-speed cruise
Flying faster shortens journey time but reduces range. The operator balances speed and range per flight.
Winds and season
Westbound winter headwinds reduce what is possible nonstop.
Payload and airports
More passengers, luggage or a short, hot or high runway reduce the margin on the longest sectors.

Where a Falcon 6X Can Reach
Europe ↔ US East Coast
A typical Falcon 6X mission. Westbound winter sectors are checked per flight.
Gulf ↔ Europe
Within range for most city pairs.
Europe ↔ Gulf ↔ Asia
Many sectors are possible nonstop; longer ones are confirmed per flight.
Longest city pairs
Some ultra-long sectors need a Falcon 8X, G700, G800 or Global 7500, or a technical stop. We tell you which.
Cabin
Width, Height, Light and Comfort
30 large windows and a galley skylight. Actual seating, sleeping and layout depend on the individual aircraft.
Width and height
One of the widest and tallest purpose-built business-jet cabins. Exact dimensions confirmed per aircraft.
30 large windows
A notably bright cabin across all zones.
Galley skylight
A skylight above the galley, unique in business aviation.
Passengers
Model capacity is quoted at 12–16. On overnight flights we plan fewer passengers than seats.
Sleeping
Divans and seats can convert to berths. Berth count is confirmed per aircraft.
Baggage
Real capacity depends on bag shapes, skis and golf bags; confirmed per flight.
Crew rest
Its presence and layout are confirmed per aircraft.
Connectivity
Systems, coverage and data allowances vary. We confirm the installed system for your route.
Engineering
Flight Controls, Vision Systems and Engines
Digital flight controls
Mature Falcon digital-flight-control architecture.
FalconEye
Combined vision system; FalconEye and dual HUD certification reported by Dassault. Fit confirmed per aircraft.
Engines
Twin engines. Engine type confirmed with the operator for each aircraft.
Airports
London City, Monaco and Short Runways
Short-field performance
Strong airport performance for its class. Whether a specific airport works is calculated per flight by the operator.
Steep approaches
Steep-descent certification has been reported by Dassault. Use at a given airport depends on aircraft, operator and crew approvals; confirmed per flight.
London City
Dassault reports London City capability. Approvals are aircraft and operator specific; confirmed per flight.
Monaco and the Riviera
Nice is the usual gateway, with helicopter or car transfer.
Missions
Falcon 6X Route Use Cases
London → New York
A typical intercontinental mission. Winter westbound winds are confirmed per flight.
