Bombardier Global 8000
The Global 8000 combines extreme intercontinental range with the highest published maximum speed of any current business jet—but the actual mission still depends on payload, airport, cabin configuration and operator availability.

Overview
What Is the Bombardier Global 8000?
The Bombardier Global 8000 is Bombardier's current flagship. It pairs extreme intercontinental range with the highest published top speed of any current business jet.
It has been in service since December 2025. That is not the same as being available for charter on your date. The charter fleet is still small, so we check live availability for every request.
The actual mission still depends on payload, airport, cabin configuration and operator availability.

From the Global 7500
What Changed, and Is It the Fastest?
What changed from the Global 7500
Bombardier publishes more range and a higher top speed for the Global 8000, on the same large four-zone cabin concept.
Can a Global 7500 become a Global 8000?
Only Bombardier can confirm what is available for a specific serial number. We check with the manufacturer and service network rather than assume an upgrade is possible.
Fastest private jet?
Bombardier publishes Mach 0.94, the highest published maximum speed of any current business jet.
Longest-range private jet?
Bombardier and Gulfstream both publish about 8,000 nm for their flagships under different assumptions. On a real trip, payload, winds and reserves decide.
Range
What Does the Published Range Actually Mean?
Published maximum: 8,000 nm source · top speed: Mach 0.94 source · high-speed cruise: Mach 0.92 source.
The published figure
Bombardier publishes a maximum range under its own reference conditions. It is a reference, not a promise.
High-speed cruise
Flying faster shortens the trip but reduces range. The operator decides speed per flight.
Winds and season
Winter headwinds on westbound flights can reduce what is possible nonstop.
Payload
More passengers and luggage reduce the margin on the longest sectors.
Airports
Short, hot or high runways can limit take-off weight, and therefore fuel.
Range illustration
Where a Global 8000 Can Reach
Europe → US East Coast
Typically well within range.
Europe → US West Coast
Usually feasible nonstop; winds and payload matter.
Gulf → United States
A typical ultra-long mission; confirmed per flight.
East Asia → Europe
Within published capability on many city pairs; overflight permits and crew duty matter.
Australia → Asia / Middle East
A long sector; confirmed per flight.
Cabin
Cabin, Sleeping, Shower, Baggage and Cabin Altitude
Up to 4 source. Actual seating, sleeping and layout depend on the individual aircraft.
Cabin
A large four-zone cabin, plus a crew rest area depending on layout.
Passengers
Seat count depends on the installed layout. For overnight flights we usually plan far fewer passengers so everyone can rest. Confirmed per aircraft.
Sleeping
Divans, convertible seats and a stateroom can provide beds. The berth count is confirmed per aircraft.
Bedroom
Many layouts include a primary suite; confirmed per aircraft.
Shower
A shower can be installed in some layouts; it is not standard. We confirm whether one is fitted.
Cabin altitude
Bombardier says the cabin altitude is the lowest in the industry, which can make long flights less tiring.
Air and lighting
HEPA-filtered Pũr Air and Soleil circadian lighting are designed to reduce fatigue.
Baggage
The baggage hold is accessible in flight. Real capacity depends on bag shapes; confirmed per flight.
Connectivity
Systems and coverage vary by aircraft. We confirm the installed system for your route.
Galley and lavatories
The layout varies by aircraft; confirmed per aircraft.
Crew rest
Ultra-long sectors may need augmented crew and a crew rest area; confirmed per aircraft and flight.
Engineering
Wing, Flight Deck and Engines
Wing
Bombardier's Smooth Flĕx Wing, designed for ride quality and short-field performance.
Flight deck
The Bombardier Vision flight deck with fly-by-wire controls.
Engines
Two GE Passport engines; confirmed per aircraft.
Airports
London City, Monaco and Short Runways
London City
London City has a short runway, a steep approach and its own aircraft approval rules. We do not assume a Global 8000 can use it; Farnborough, Biggin Hill or Luton are usual alternatives. Confirmed per flight.
Monaco
Monaco has no runway. Flights use Nice Côte d'Azur, followed by a helicopter or car transfer. Confirmed per flight.
Short or hot runways
Real airport performance depends on weight, temperature and runway. The operator calculates it.
Missions
Global 8000 Route Use Cases
London → Singapore
An ultra-long sector that can be planned nonstop depending on payload and season. Confirmed per flight.
Asia → Monaco (via Nice)
Nice is the jet airport for Monaco; the final transfer is by helicopter or car.

Global 8000 vs G800, G700, Global 7500, G650ER and Falcon 10X
| Aircraft | Range | Compared with the Global 8000 |
|---|---|---|
| Global 8000 | 8,000 nm source | Current production; limited charter supply. |
| Gulfstream G600 | 6,600 nm source | Gulfstream with much less range; mature charter fleet. |
| Bombardier Global 6500 | 6,600 nm source | Less range and three zones; a larger, more mature charter fleet. |
| Gulfstream G800 | 8,000 nm source | A similar published range on a smaller G650-size cabin. |
| Gulfstream G700 | 7,750 nm source | Cabin-first: Gulfstream's largest cabin, with less published range. |
| Bombardier Global 7500 | 7,700 nm source | The predecessor, with the same cabin concept. Bombardier publishes less range and a lower top speed. It is more widely available in charter. |
| Gulfstream G650ER | 7,500 nm source | A smaller cabin and less range; widely available in charter. |
| Dassault Falcon 10X | Confirmed per aircraft | Dassault's future flagship, in flight test since its first flight on 19 June 2026 and still in certification. Not yet available for charter. |
Published maximums. Actual range depends on passengers, payload, weather, winds, reserves and conditions.

Why the Actual Aircraft Matters
Layout
Seating, suite and shower differ between aircraft.
7500 or 8000
Confirm which model you are quoted; range and speed differ.
Connectivity
System, coverage and data allowance vary.
Operator
Every flight is operated by a licensed operator. LUND GROUP does not own aircraft.

New Global 8000
New aircraft are ordered through Bombardier with delivery slots. We act as buyer-side advisers, not as the manufacturer.
Pre-owned
The pre-owned market is still very young. We only show a listing when one is verified.
Global 7500 → Global 8000
Owners moving from a 7500 should compare a trade, an upgrade (if Bombardier offers one for the serial number) and keeping the aircraft. We model each against your missions.
Global 8000 or G800
Choose between cabin size, speed and availability based on your real passengers and routes.
