Overview

What Is the Gulfstream G700?

The Gulfstream G700 is Gulfstream's cabin-first ultra-long-range aircraft. It offers up to five living areas, the longest Gulfstream cabin, significant sleeping capability and a published range of 7,750 nm.

The G800 is the range-first choice: it flies further on a shorter cabin. The G700 is for clients who value space on long flights.

The G700 entered service in April 2024, and Gulfstream announced its 50th delivery in May 2025. In service does not mean available on your date. We check live availability for every request.

Status

In Service and Cabin-First

Entry into service: April 2024. 50th customer delivery: May 2025.

In service is not the same as available for charter on your date. We check live inventory for every request.

Cabin-first, not range-first

The G700 trades some range for a cabin about three metres longer than the G800's.

Same technology

It shares the Pearl 700 engines, advanced wing and Symmetry flight deck with the G800.

Gulfstream's largest cabin

The longest cabin Gulfstream builds, with up to five living areas.

Charter market

Active in charter, but availability of a specific aircraft on your date must be checked.

Range

What Does the Published Range Actually Mean?

Published maximum: 7,750 nm source · max speed: Mach 0.935 source.

The published figure

Gulfstream publishes a maximum range under its own reference conditions. It is a reference, not a promise.

Winds and season

Winter headwinds on westbound flights can reduce what is possible nonstop. The operator plans each flight.

Payload

More passengers and luggage reduce the margin on the longest sectors.

Airports

Short, hot or high runways can limit take-off weight, and therefore fuel.

Speed

Flying faster shortens the trip but reduces range.

Range illustration

Where a G700 Can Reach

Indicative only. Each flight is calculated by the operator.

Europe → US East Coast

Typically well within range.

Europe → US West Coast

Usually feasible nonstop; winds and payload matter.

Gulf → United States

Often feasible nonstop; confirmed per flight.

East Asia → Europe

Within published capability on many city pairs; overflight permits and crew duty matter.

Very longest sectors

Where range is decisive, the G800 or Global 8000 may be the better fit.

Gulfstream offers a grand suite; not every aircraft has one. Confirmed per aircraft.

Shower

Gulfstream offers a suite with shower as an option. We confirm whether one is fitted.
