A Private Wellness Retreat That Moves With You

Wellness Yacht Charter

Your private wellness retreat — with a different view every morning. Spa, movement, nutrition and time on the water, built around the yacht that actually has the facilities you want.

Massage room means massage room. Personal trainer means a verified qualified crew member or confirmed specialist.

How we work

We verify the facilities, crew and specialists

We verify, we don't relabel

We do not turn every large yacht into a "wellness yacht". A yacht appears here only when its facilities and crew have been checked and approved.

Facility is not service

A massage room is a room. A massage needs a qualified person. We confirm both separately — and say clearly whether that person is crew or a visiting specialist.

Your brief, not a package

Some guests want a daily trainer, others want quiet, sleep and swimming. We start with what wellness means to you, then shortlist yachts and routes.

Verified yachts

Yachts with verified wellness facilities

Must have

Tell us what wellness means to you. We'll verify the yacht.

Share your dates, a region and the facilities or specialists you need. We approach suitable yachts privately and confirm the real spa, gym, sauna or crew qualifications before sending a shortlist.

Plan a Wellness Charter

Yacht style

Which yacht style fits your wellness charter?

Large motor yacht

Most likely to carry a full gym, spa, sauna or cold plunge and space for a therapist or trainer cabin.

Explorer yacht

Suits active wellness in remote regions — hiking, kayaking, diving.

Sailing yacht

Quieter under sail and close to the sea. Fewer onboard facilities; the wellness comes from the water.

Catamaran

Wide, stable decks for yoga and easy swimming access. Usually limited spa facilities.

Smaller is not worse

A 30–40 m yacht with a therapist aboard and calm anchorages can deliver a better wellness week than a larger yacht without them.

Larger adds facilities

A dedicated spa, sauna or gym usually needs a larger yacht. Choose size for the facilities you will use, not the label.

Fitness

Train at sea

Some yachts carry a full gym with free weights, cardio machines and cable equipment; others have a bike and a few dumbbells. We list the actual equipment — not just the word "gym".

A personal trainer is listed only when a qualified crew member or a confirmed external trainer is in place for your dates. Sessions can move to the beach, the sun deck or a hike ashore.

We keep fitness goals non-medical: strength, mobility, endurance and enjoyment. We do not promise weight loss or physical results.

Swimming

Swim before breakfast

For many guests the sea itself is the best facility on board. Open-water swims are arranged at safe anchorages, with a tender alongside and crew briefed on conditions.

A pool or jacuzzi aboard is not the same as open-water swimming. Currents, jellyfish, water temperature and traffic are checked by the captain on the day.

Heat & cold

Sauna, hammam and cold plunge

We confirm the exact type: dry sauna, steam room, hammam, cold plunge pool, snow room. A shower with a cold setting is not a cold plunge.

Heat and cold exposure is offered for enjoyment only. Guests with health conditions should take medical advice first.

Spa & massage

Massage room means massage room

A dedicated massage room or spa area is listed only where the yacht has one. On other yachts, treatments can happen in a cabin or on deck — and we say so.

A massage is listed only when a qualified therapist is confirmed: either crew with a recognised qualification, or an external therapist joining for set days. External therapists are never presented as permanent crew.

Beauty

Beauty & grooming

Hair, nails and grooming before an evening ashore can be arranged with crew who hold the relevant skills or with visiting professionals in port, subject to availability.

Nutrition

Eat the way you want

The chef cooks to your preference sheet: plant-based, high-protein, lighter Mediterranean, no refined sugar, fasting windows. A yacht chef is a chef, not a dietitian — if you follow a clinical diet, your own nutrition professional should set it.

Allergies and intolerances are recorded in writing before embarkation and briefed to the chef and interior crew. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free galley; we confirm how each yacht handles it.

No-alcohol and low-alcohol charters are straightforward: we brief the crew, adjust provisioning and can remove alcohol from the yacht entirely on request.

Sleep

Build the charter around sleep

Sleep depends on calm anchorages, cabin position away from engines and crew areas, blackout, temperature and stability. Zero-speed stabilisers reduce roll at anchor; they do not remove motion entirely.

We can plan fewer, shorter passages, quiet anchorages for the night and a crew briefed to keep early mornings silent.

Disconnect

Switch off without disappearing

Ask for a screen-light charter and we brief crew to keep devices out of sight, routes away from busy ports and communications on your terms. The yacht remains contactable for safety and emergencies.

Privacy & crew

Privacy and service style

We brief the captain and chief stewardess on how present you want the crew to be — attentive or nearly invisible — and on any photography or confidentiality requirements.

Discretion is standard. Where additional protection is needed, it can be arranged separately.

Discreet private security

Important

Not a medical service

A wellness yacht charter is a private holiday, not a clinic. We do not arrange medical treatment, diagnosis, detox programmes, IV therapies or clinical procedures. Any qualified medical crew aboard are there for safety, not treatment.

A sample day

What does a wellness day look like?

  1. 07:00Swim off the stern or a sunrise yoga session on a quiet deck.
  2. 08:30Breakfast cooked to your preference sheet.
  3. 10:00Gym or trainer session, paddleboard or coastal walk ashore.
  4. 13:00Long, light lunch at anchor.
  5. 15:00Massage, sauna or simply rest — nothing scheduled.
  6. 18:00Short passage to a calm anchorage for the night.
  7. 20:00Early dinner, no alcohol if you prefer, lights down early.

You do not need an activity every hour. Rest days — no passage, no schedule, just swimming and sleep — are often the most valued days of the week.

Questions

Wellness yacht charter FAQ

What is a wellness yacht charter?

A private crewed yacht charter built around rest, movement, spa time, food and the sea — on a yacht whose facilities and crew have been verified for that purpose.

Is this a medical or detox programme?

No. It is a private holiday. We do not offer medical, clinical or detox treatment.

Can I charter a yacht with a spa?

Yes, where a yacht has a verified spa area or massage room. We confirm the actual space and layout before you commit.

Can I charter a yacht with a sauna or hammam?

Yes. We confirm the exact type — dry sauna, steam room or hammam — per yacht.

Are there yachts with a cold plunge?

Some larger yachts have a dedicated cold plunge. Otherwise, the sea is often the cold plunge.

Will there be a masseuse on board?

Only where a qualified therapist is confirmed — either crew or an external therapist joining for set days.

Can a personal trainer join the charter?

Yes. Either a qualified crew member or a confirmed external trainer; we state which.

Is a yoga instructor available?

Where confirmed. Instructors can join for the full charter or selected days, subject to cabin space.

Does every large yacht count as a wellness yacht?

No. We list yachts only when the relevant facilities or services are verified.

What gym equipment is on board?

It varies widely. We list the actual equipment for each shortlisted yacht.

Can the chef follow a specific diet?

Yes, within the chef's skills. A chef is not a dietitian; clinical diets should be set by your own professional.

Can you handle allergies?

Allergies are briefed in writing. We confirm how each galley handles them; no galley can be guaranteed allergen-free.

Can we have an alcohol-free charter?

Yes. We adjust provisioning and can remove alcohol from the yacht on request.

Will I sleep well on a yacht?

Calm anchorages, stabilisers and cabin position help. Some motion at anchor is normal.

Where is best for a wellness charter?

It depends on your brief: the Ionian or Croatia for calm, the Riviera for specialist access, the Caribbean in winter, Alaska for active wellness.

How long should a wellness charter be?

A week is common; four or five nights works for a short reset of routine.

Can we bring our own therapist or trainer?

Often, subject to the yacht's cabin space, crew rules and approval.

How much does a wellness yacht charter cost?

The charter rate depends on the yacht and season; specialists, treatments and provisioning are usually additional. We quote in writing per yacht.
