Your honeymoon, entirely at sea
Honeymoon Yacht Charter
Yacht, itinerary, private aviation and every detail around it — through one contact.
How we work
We start with how you want it to feel
Feeling first, yacht second
Tell us how you want the days to feel — slow, social, sailing, island to island. We then approach only yachts and routes that fit.
Your hotel moves with you
One cabin, one crew and a different bay each morning. No check-outs, no transfers between hotels, no repacking.
One contact for everything
Yacht, route, chef, flights, transfers and the nights ashore before or after — arranged and confirmed by one adviser.
Atmosphere
What should your honeymoon feel like?
Quiet & private
Anchorages away from the crowd, late breakfasts, few ports. Croatia's outer islands, the Ionian, the Grenadines.
Mediterranean summer
Long lunches, beach clubs and dinners ashore. The Amalfi Coast, Capri, the Riviera, Saint-Tropez.
Island hopping
A new island most days — the Cyclades, the Balearics, the Bahamas.
Sailing
Wind, silence and a crewed sailing yacht. The Greek islands, Croatia, the Caribbean in winter.
Wellness
Yoga at anchor, massage aboard where a therapist can join, a lighter menu and early swims.
Adventure
Diving, remote anchorages and longer passages — the Exumas, the Seychelles, the Maldives.
Social
A few nights where friends or family join, then the yacht is yours alone again.
The yacht
Yachts Suited to a Honeymoon
Tell us how it should feel. We'll source the yacht.
Share your dates, a region or two and the kind of days you imagine. We approach suitable yachts privately and send you only those that fit — with the real master-suite layout, crew and costs.
Plan Our HoneymoonSize
Bigger is not always better
A smaller yacht
Feels like a private house on the water. Fewer crew, closer to the sea, easier into small harbours and quiet coves. Often the most intimate choice for two.
A larger yacht
More space between you and the crew, a larger master suite, more stability, a spa or gym on some yachts and room to invite family for a few days. It costs more — size should be chosen for a reason.
Privacy
Privacy changes the honeymoon
No other guests, no shared pool, no neighbouring table. On a yacht the only other people aboard are a crew who work around you.
We brief the captain before you arrive: how present you want the crew to be, when you would like to be left alone, whether photographs or social posting are off-limits. Crew are professional and discreet by training; we make your preferences explicit.
Cabins
The master suite matters
For two people, cabin count matters far less than the master suite: its size, its position on the yacht, whether it has windows or a private deck, and how far it sits from crew areas and engines.
We do not describe any cabin as a "honeymoon suite" unless the yacht itself does. We send the actual layout and photographs of the master cabin before you commit.
Breakfast
Slow mornings
Breakfast when you wake up, not when a restaurant closes. On deck, in the cabin or after a first swim — the chef works to your rhythm, not a schedule.
Dinner for two
Dinner, without a reservation time
A table on the aft deck at anchor, a beach dinner set up by the crew where permitted, or a tender to a restaurant ashore that we book for you.
A private chef is not a restaurant menu. The chef plans with you before the charter, cooks around local produce and adjusts day by day. Dietary needs and allergies are shared in advance.
From wedding to yacht
From the wedding straight to the yacht
Many couples board within a day or two of the wedding. We can time the embarkation to the wedding location, arrange a private flight or transfer, and have the yacht provisioned and waiting.
If family or friends stay on for a day or two, the yacht can host them first and become yours alone afterwards.
Wellness
A honeymoon that can be completely slow
Some yachts carry a spa, gym or massage room; on others a therapist or yoga teacher can join for a day where the yacht allows. Nothing is assumed — we confirm what each yacht can offer.
Getting there
Private aviation, transfers and nights ashore
We arrange private jets or helicopters to the nearest airport or helipad, transfers to the marina and hotels or villas before and after the charter, all through the same adviser.
Costs
How a honeymoon charter is priced
Charter yachts are usually quoted per week, plus an advance provisioning allowance for food, fuel, berths and drinks, local taxes where applicable, and a gratuity at your discretion. Shorter charters are possible on some yachts, often outside peak weeks.
We send a written breakdown for each proposed yacht before you decide. Nothing on this page is a price or availability offer.
Where to go
Where should you honeymoon by yacht?
Amalfi Coast & Capri
May–October
Cliffside villages, dinners in Positano, swims off the Faraglioni. Best for couples who want beauty, food and some life ashore.
Greek Islands
May–October
Island hopping, whitewashed harbours and long swims. The meltemi wind shapes summer routes in the Cyclades; the Ionian is calmer.
French Riviera
May–September
Polished and easy: Monaco, Cap Ferrat, Saint-Tropez and the Lérins Islands, with excellent restaurants within a short tender ride.
Croatia
June–September
Hundreds of islands, quiet coves and old stone towns. Good for couples who prefer privacy over scene.
Sardinia & Corsica
June–September
Clear water, the Maddalena archipelago and Corsica's wilder southern coast across the strait.
Sicily & Aeolian Islands
June–September
Volcanic islands, Sicilian food and fewer superyachts. Distinct and less obvious.
Mallorca, Ibiza & Formentera
May–October
Calm calas by day, a choice of quiet or lively evenings ashore.
Caribbean
December–April
A winter honeymoon: warm water, the BVI, St Barts and the Grenadines. Hurricane season shapes the calendar from June to November.
Bahamas
December–May
Shallow turquoise water and the Exumas' empty sandbanks. Draft matters — smaller yachts reach more.

Questions
Honeymoon yacht charter FAQ
How long should a honeymoon yacht charter be?
A week is the most common and allows the route to breathe. Some yachts accept shorter charters, particularly outside July and August.
Is a yacht honeymoon only for two people?
The yacht is chartered privately for you. Most couples travel alone; some invite family or friends for a few days. The crew are always aboard.
How big a yacht do we need?
For two, a smaller yacht can feel more intimate. Choose a larger yacht for space, stability, a larger master suite or onboard wellness — not for size alone.
Is there a honeymoon suite?
We only use that phrase where the yacht does. What matters is the master suite itself, and we send its layout and photos first.
Can we have a private chef?
Crewed charter yachts carry a chef who plans the menu with you in advance and cooks around your preferences.
Can we sail rather than motor?
Yes — crewed sailing yachts and catamarans suit couples who want quieter passages. Wind dictates the route.
Where is best in summer?
The Amalfi Coast, Greek islands, French Riviera, Croatia, Sardinia, Corsica and the Balearics.
Where is best in winter?
The Caribbean and the Bahamas, typically December to April.
Can we go straight from our wedding?
Yes. We time the embarkation to your wedding location and arrange flights and transfers.
Can you arrange private jets and hotels as well?
Yes, through the same adviser — flights, helicopters, transfers and nights ashore.
Can you arrange a surprise for my partner?
Tell us privately. We speak only to you and confirm with the yacht what is possible.
What does it cost?
It depends on yacht, season and destination. We send a written breakdown including provisioning, taxes and fees before anything is booked.
Yacht availability, cabin layouts, crew, itineraries, anchorages, water toys and rates are confirmed in writing per yacht and date. Routes depend on weather, sea state and the captain's judgement. Images may be illustrative. No yacht, cabin, surprise or experience is guaranteed until the charter agreement is executed. Lund Group is independent and not affiliated with any hotel, marina or authority named on this page.
